Is this good for cannabis? Please make a video teaching us how to grow cannabis with Vermisterra products.

Yes earthworm castings and coco coir are excellent for any plant- but especially cannabis which grow very similarly to tomato and cucumbers. We've had multiple commercial greenhouses growing tomatoes and cucumbers use our products for increase plant growth, harvest weight, more blooms, and less disease complications. The key is that our products are bioavailable, and they balance out any soil issues so that nutrients, minerals, are available = less stress = plant can focus on growing! I will add that video idea to our list!

Is worm tea really necessary if I have vermiterra worm castings and vatility with Coco coir?
@VermisterraEarthwormCastings

The worm castings and Vitality are a multivitamin with elements which build a strong foundation and soil structure. Worm tea is made goes hand in hand with it- it is a soil enhancer, bio-stimulant that helps renew tired soil, make nutrients, and release salt and pH problems. Made from castings, kelp, molasses and much more, it is chock full of plant probiotics and enzymes to perk up your plants. It's very important for the maintenance of healthy soil.

I've been using the stuff you mentioned along with canna Coco coir except worm tea. I've noticed the bottom sweet basil leaves on the very end of the tip turning darkish and I don't know why yet. The top leaves bend upward in the middle vein, instead of curling. It's about 3 inches or so tall from my plant now. The newer leaves seem to be not as big as the bottom ones that have the tip turning darkish. Are there any reasons why I see that happening?

Can you send us a photo thru our website? It sounds like possibly over watering. Would need to ask more info about your growing climate and conditions. Shoot us a message under the contact us page! - Mindy

Should i water everyday with vatility diluted to the mix with worm castings and coco coir.
@mlramos3064
@mlramos3064 Месяц назад
Not daily- you can apply vitality at diluted rates every 1-2 weeks or less often depending on the health of your plant. Using vitality is an easy way to refresh with earthworm casting without having to disturb plants. Vitality will work faster than regular castings- giving you big lush leaves and better pest resistance.

@@mlramos3064 Yeah, thought I would need vatility to keep feeding the plant, aside from refreshing the worm castings. I figured Coco coir washes away nutrients, but that wouldn't make sense since it does have one amendment which is the worm castings vermiterra. I wish I could show you the plant. I'm trying to be really careful not to over water or let it get too dry. What kind of steps I would need to follow if I can only water it with vatility every one or two weeks? I use tap water to dilute it.

thank you so much for this. So you should not use the coco coir for potting mix for seeds just for when you are transplanting seedlings?
@VermisterraEarthwormCastings
@VermisterraEarthwormCastings 3 года назад
You can use the coco coir with chips for seed starting, it's just not as ideal because the chips can cause the seeds to grow in a non uniform way. In a pinch, you could just remove the chips and longer pith strands with your hand. For seed starting you can use fine coco coir which is widely available everywhere. Hope that helps!

Is it normal for a sealed newly purchased bottle if this worm tea to smell unbearably rancid like rotten eggs???? Im concerned the product i got has gone bad...someone help please!
@VermisterraEarthwormCastings
@VermisterraEarthwormCastings 3 года назад
Hello- yes it is normal for the worm tea to have a manure smell. Regular tea will be clear and brown like cola or black tea. If water gets into the bottle, it can go bad which will turn the tea black and cloudy. If you prefer our worm castings which has no odor, please contact us via our website.

@@plantgurugangsta7299 yes the tea is dark but if you pour it in a glass it will be slightly clear like cola. It does smell but some customers say it’s not as bad as fish emulsions, some say it’s horrible and they can’t use it, others say they like the smell since their plants like it. If you do not wish to use it due to the smell I can exchange it once to make sure. You can email me thru the website for more help. Thank you, Mindy
