Make a Pinch Pot Part 2: Refining 

This video demonstrates how to clean up and refine your pinch pot. Pinch pots are created by using your hands to shape the clay. Pinch pots are some of the oldest archaeological artifacts found on the planet.
Part 1: • Make a Pinch Pot Part ...
* Get your pinch pot as smooth and even as you can with your hands first.
* Use a rib tool to smooth over lumps and fill in dents.
* Avoid using too much water, it washes away fine particles and leaves clay rough.
* Surface cracks can be repaired with a little water, but don’t soften the clay.
* Flatten out the bottom so it doesn’t rock on the table.
* Even and smooth the rim so it is comfortable to drink from.
