I bought this as a gift for my friend ru-vid.comUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG who is just starting out in the world of wood work. He loves it!! There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.
i have never seen someone stain wood so carefully before 😁🤗 nor have i ever seen so many personal jigs utilized for multiple identical cuts like in this video. thank you for sharing your strong construction skills
Pretty sure you can't get any more efficient than this. I love the idea of using the flip stop on the table saw sled as a clamp to hold small parts. Genius!
Ahh somebody else loves 2 bys... Theyre a great and CHEAP source of good wood for a lot of things.. Just have to pick through the pile to get the rare straight ones.. :) I need to get off my rear and make a twin size version of this.. Im lazy so I would most likely use my CNC for the fancy cuts on the drawers and the tenon pockets. Its the perfect tool for it as theres lots of the same parts. :)
I watch a lot of construction/woodworking videos on RU-vid, and you sir and most professional one I've ever seen. you obviously take pride in your work, and it is reflected in the quality of your projects. Thank you for sharing your craft.
I love the detail to the construction and how robust it is. You lost me when you did the veneer edging on the drawer fronts. Thought for sure you were going to glue up some panels to make them.
That’s really nice. However, I don’t have many of those tools. If owned them already then ok but if I bought them to do this I might as well buy the thing already made.
Maestro Je, could you consider talking to Paul Akers at fastcap.com, and his team to mass produce your perfect mortising jig for uour admirers and followers on RU-vid? otherwise....can you sell plans? this project goes to prove that construction lumber CAN be used to produce furniture!
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. I really do like the skill and craftsmanship that went into this project, but I think it would be easier and much more helpful to your viewers if you spoke instead of adding captions to the video.
