If you're already familiar with basic sewing techniques, this video makes it quite easy to get a cute tulle skirt done! Generally, when you're doing 1 gathered layer of skirt, you want to have enough fabric to go around your waist 2x. And so forth.

Unfortunately I feel the same way. I think this video assumes some prior knowledge. I'm off to try and find another video to make our child a tulle skirt 😅

I don't consider myself a beginner but I'm still pretty low on the ladder. and I don't have a serger. Going to try with a normal machine with your suggested tension settings.... Wish me luck.

Gathering on a serger only works if you can adjust the tension on your serger. My BabyLock Imagine doesn’t allow me to change the tension.

What is the length of tulle around the waist? You only tell us the length from waist down

Love that your videos don’t have distraction..in the background..weird music..animals..kids crying so distracting ..I turn off other videos Specifically because they’re not professionally made and not worth my time I’m a very serious sore but I do love your videos thank you
