Love the diagonal zipper placement! Misty, you reminded me of the times my mom would help me sew a project and how wonderful it was to have help. We'd lay out the pattern on her table, then each start cutting from opposing ends meeting in the middle. When sewing, one would make the seam, the other would press and prep the next section to be sewn with pins. It was a dream! Thank you for sparking that memory!

That was so cute! Years ago after seeing a RU-vid video using placemats for bags, I've made several. Since I used placemats, I didn't need the binding, but making it yourself-what a nice touch! But I just LOVE the diagonal zipper like that 💗💗 Will for sure be making some like that now 😊
