We recently wanted to change our Wordpress site and knew the old template we used was not up to being responsive, etc. When we found Elementor, we were blown away but had no idea where to start. I have gone through so many elements of this video over and over. You can see the amount of research and frustration you have been through to gain the knowledge you have. Question: Elementor offers a barebone theme called "elementor-hello-theme" to their Pro users, and with so much customization available with Elementor Pro now do you think that sites would be more efficient using such a barebone theme compared to using themes that you're going to strip down anyway? And for beginners building their sites the way you do in this particular video, would using the elementor hello theme be more difficult, and if so, what pitfalls are we avoiding by going with an established theme like OceanWP?

Most of the tutorial on RU-vid are only talk 95% shit and only 5% real tips. But I really like this one because from the beginning till end there’s no wasting time. Hi Ferdy, another really great video. Just one thing that everyone keeps missing with Elementor videos - how to add page breaks. In-depth studies can make really long web pages and a page break is essential. However, the traditional wordpress code code creates the sign 'page break', but page 1 and page 2 are the same, even when entered through the shortcode widget. With all your knowledge, is there any way of adding page breaks with elementor and oceanwp? Many thanks
Hi Michael, I don't know hoe to do multiple page breaks in Elementor. As far as I know really long and valuable posts and pages are good for the ranking in Google.

Hi ferdy i hope you would reply i am currently in you portfolio making area of the video and when i do click portfolio in nav menu > and edit page > edit with elementor to put the portfolio widget i get and error it loads for a while then i get an error saying "Sorry the content area was not found in your page. It says to go into Editor but when I do I am getting a message of caution which I am not comfortable with. Nu is in het begin van de pro video bij mij iets fout gegaan omdat ik een template (ocean wp) geïnstalleerd heb. Die krijg ik er dus met geen mogelijkheid meer uit en zo kan ik ook niet verder met mijn website. Heb jij enig idee hoe ik er die uit kan krijgen? Als ik de Astra terugzet krijg ik ook een heel vreemd beeld. Het is voor mij ook geen probleem om alles te deleten, want ik was toch nog niet zo heel ver.

Easy question, my wordpress won't recognise I have a header there. Whenever I create a new column/section is begins over the header, so basically this section is under the header. When I create a blog page, the same thing happens, the top of the first post is under the header. Any ideas on what I've done wrong?

May I please, please have a bit of help. I want to create a blog page With Elementor Pro. My problem is that I have Elementor Pro and Anywhere Elementor Pro and I can't figure out how to get WP to display it. I'm not talking about a single post template. Those are easy enough to make and use. I want a page that is going to come up when someone clicks on a Nav link that says Blog. One that I can put say... three rows of four columns, that when they click on "Read More" they are taken to the single post template. I made a nice one and styled it using cards in Elementor just creating a page in WP and assigning it to be the post page in WP and the themes customize section. Nothing came up when I clicked on the Blog link. Not even the themes blog page. It was just blank, except for the custom sidebar I made using AE. Very confusing to me. Ya know... videos are great and I learn from then all the time, but DAMN... is there no one that has made any Elementor cheat pages? You know... Build a custom sidebar 1. bla bla bla. 2. bla bla bla. That is really what would help me and I am sure others as well. Thank you for your time, John

At 1:33:24 you are using the WP editor instead of Elementor. Why? Can't Elementor do what you are trying to do? (I often find it unclear when to use a WP capability or an equivalent Elementor capability.) Thanks for a great video!

I am having issues with elementor pro, on each browser looks different, sometimes is colour wrong, the text is jumping from one side to other before settle in right position. I have turned off all the plugins and left only Elementor Pro and Ocean wP pro and i am fed up now. The changes which i am doing in elementor, some are visible some are not. they acting randomly on each browser like firefox, chrome, opera. Do you have any suggestions?

The two columns row is automatically converted into two single and it looks really bad. Any solution to this? I did everything as you described on the tutorial but nothing is changing the setting. was probably great for 2018 WP and Elementor. unfortunately they change so fast its impossible to follow along because the screens and tabs are different now.
