5:45 I was also thinking that perhaps the old ranks of the cars were being used to determine who you got paired up with in multiplayer. That's true for the SLK. However, the Audi etron is getting paired up correctly with it's 1500's competition despite being 1100 for me before. Strange.

It's unfortunate that 2 years later, Gameloft hasn't done jack shquat despite the petitions having the 5000+ signatures. Send this back to them. It doesn’t matter if it's too late. At least farming would be fixed. Edit: 4 years later, they still haven't done jack-shqwat about this. If anything they've made it even worse.

Although i didn't play Asphalt 8 too much but i care about Asphalt 8 but this is WORST UPDATE WE EVER HAD!!I though it will fine to me that they add those car that i didn't expecting that they will.Now although i hate R8 SE so much,but when i saw R8 SE nuffed,i'm kind feel bad about that.This update could only let Asphalt player left the game not playing Aspahlt 9 because it tooooooooo much P2W! Definitely! I just got the Mercedes SLK 55 AMG SE on an acceptable rank, and its so sad to see that being lost. Also, those champion kit boxes at mastery 4 from class B-S are crap. Only good thing are the few V8’s coming from it, but I’ve seen also drop rates from blueprints dramatically going down, as earlier, you often got a blueprint and now even thecommon blueprints are rarer... I attempted to sign it. It asked for more info than i wanted to share. Thanks for sharing your vid. 👍 I was very disappointed about Mastery changes too because I used it to practice various tracks. It didn't hurt that I was able to gain credits. Even if they wanted to stop payouts, they should have left the race open for practice. After all, we invested our valuable time to play and earned that priviledge to race again so it's the least Gameloft should do! 🤔

alright boys, here in June 2020 we need fixes again, this time we need to do it real good, every single car price is crAzY high, making career alot harder to progress, and also petition to remove fusion coins. The the biggest problem is probably the extreme price changes, help us, we want the old a8 back.

Yesterday when I was reading comments on asphalt 8, many people were saying that a8 far more better than A9..and gameloft should focus on this game than creating other series..So as mentioned in Petition these change should be reverted... The R8 SE was the main problem people wanted a nerf to the top speed not every great MP car. If the noobs are complaining then it's there on problem because we worked hard to earn these great MP cars. The noobs should understand that skill and great cars come with time over practice and understanding the game. Noobs prove me wrong why this update for the rank change for the Best MP cars is a good idea

Me in 2013-2015:- Oh I don't have enough space and data for the game😔😔😔 Me in 2019:- downloaded the game for three times and said" this is OK".(I didn't know that it reveals it's true potential when we go online) Went online for once:- This game is a legend.🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍 Also me in 2020:- why they destroyed the game by slumping the rewards per race??? Why they made this game a P2W??? 😭😭😭😭 I personally feel that A8 is much better than even A9. I request GL to restore everything in this game back to what it was 5 years ago. i was told that the petition to change token upgrades from certain cars worked, but i feel like, regardless of the ètition or not they would have reverted the MP Matchmaking system, as it was a test, but eh, i have signed already because, this is one of my favorite games, not even in the genre, but in general, i want to get a better device so i can play it again an rip through Transylvania in my Twin Mill, and maybe, just maybe, if all this gets sorted out, they can host a competition to design the next SE

They also ruined elite tuning, so now lowering tune has a minimum of what the car's actual rank is (without elite tuning). You can only go higher... At least from what happened to mine... Also, event cars' mastery seemed to glitch and reset races and rewards (at least with Renault Trezor) so I went back through and now it says 24/15 challenges complete. xD

This update made me mad at gameloft Pls everyone sign this petition and let this game live.

Feuerrm ,I got half of slk blueprints ,by a update glitch 😂 thanks to gameloft . But I work hard for 10 blueprints and gameloft gave haft blueprints 8 of them exactly ( if I say fairly I got all blueprint I had doubled )

With this Fast lane update is pretty awful, is really cheaper to pro and some cases to max, except in R&ds with not token upgrades. The main problem I see is the amount of pro kits to upgrade, is utterly too high, 7 tires or gearbox , 10 wrenches, etc... And now GL wants on the R&Ds (don't know for EDD and championships yet) to max/pro almost completely the new cars, thus is killing the game to play on MP on a minimum rank! Also, playing the BMW i8, the amount of QC is too high at some test, even these bloody AI cars trying to wreck you, sometimes kinda good or unfair! I signed this petition too!

Like you said, it seems like Gameloft is trying to get people to move to A9. A9 had a TLE the other day that gave 5 free legendary blueprints - this is unheard of nowadays in A8... :/ It's really too bad because I loved playing both.

Reason why I uninstall the game last night: 1: Upgrade are getting more expensive, took wayyy too much parts, engines to upgrade, token upgrade still exist, upgrade in RnD will no longer give us enough engines, part, neither no free ugrade. And start with 10 quality checks enough to tell me that how hard will this RnD going to be 2: Game crash ;-; Man.... I have goodbye after 3 years of playing... but despite all of these, I still decide to sign up this competition :)

After the recent update which have i8 Hyundai, my game has stopped working, it's not even opening now. They are trying to make it like Asphalt 9. I have invested so much money but I am now realising, it's all gone in vain. Let Asphalt 8 look like the way it is, Gameloft should not bring irrelevant changes.

this game is becoming online like really online only. starting from festivals to collect coins. Also, these finish line boxes, are making people to play online always to get boxes and much more

Some rank are much better for some cars because the new players with DS Survolt,Aston Martin DB9 etc. was impossible to race with all new cars(BMW M2 Special Edition Audi R8 Special Edition and many more) now all players can play like a competition to the finish line.Before was unfar to play with DS Survolt vs players with all Special Edition. I am 100% some people will comment because...... I sign the petition good luck to become the old game/old memories on this game.

I don't really get the rank changes at max pro. Cars like the Camaro homage corvette and slk were faster because of their tuning kit bonuses. Without them they wouldn't at all be competitive with the similarly ranked ones

The finish line box has good rewards . it gave me 2 CRE and 1 v12 in 1 box

Feurrem can you test the miura with my tunning?, with this tune I usually get at least 1,2, if there are no slks and r8 se drivers around, this tune can compete with mp4/8, sometimes bad cobra, sagaris, and se drivers tune is Max: 0 3 0 1 Pro: 2 2 2 1 rank: 1268 it will mean a lot to me if you try it it works with this update mp system and the mp system before it changed

You want to know something worse? The McLaren X2 is in the game illegally. You see Chandon written on the rear wing? Chandon is a place that sells wine. The advertising of alcohol is not allowed in the game. Now my stupid mistake from last summer actually is benefitting me, as this game has seriously gone downhill and made Mastery challenges impossible.
