Dying game, Gameloft wants to kill it completely with A9 ads in game and by making MP more frustrating than ever. How about make A9 great for the first time by doing something about the hackers...

Agreed. Some noobs argue that the new mp system is a true test of skills. Well if they were that skilled why didn't they win the Audi R8 instead of crying ?

I doubt GL will change the MP system, because knowing GL, they'll just ignore everyone's complaints :v But who knows...MP is now slowly becoming "Rise of the Acceleration-Biased Cars"... I sorta have a "love-hate" relationship with this MP system. Hate: MP tunes are now useless. Even a 1111 R8 e-tron SE will have to go against a 1665 MP4/8, which has faster acceleration, and similar speed. Yeah...how is an 1111 R8 e-tron SE supposed to beat a 1665 MP4/8, unless it wrecks? Love: At least some vehicles, some of which were previously dismissed as "useless in MP", finally get to see the spotlight.

Gameloft really wants to kill the game 1.increasing event heats from 3 to 5 per event 2.releasing broken cars with a requirement of lots of engine cards (no new player can afford or get these new Kings) 3.starting mandatory token upgrades for all new cars 4.advertising asphalt 9 in a8 tracks 5.changing champion kit box rewards in mastery into useless blueprint boxes 6.releasing the most useless events in anniversary with impossible rewards (150 ARSE BP's) But the new multiplayer update is one of the better updates, with a few changes it could work well towards fair play. The old update was really unfair to all but select "skilled" players

The problem actually all starts from the exceedingly inaccurate ranks…most of the car ranks never match with the stats of the vehicles in A8. And then two years ago the first SE came out and have an even more unfairly ranked stats, and then a year ago, R8 SE beats the SLK SE with an even lower and more unfair rank…I don’t know what Gameloft is doing but it is making people mad and then pretend to fix the problem by using an even more frustrating mp system. I don’t know what is Gameloft doing…

They are killing our ol' precious game for a newborn game which needs hacker cleaning and new content in it. Gameloft is dedicated to kill the game with a crappy multiplayer system, various stupid glitches in multiplayer, messing anniversary cups and events up, for the purpose of pulling the numbers in Asphalt 8 to Asphalt 9. Even me, a dedicated Asphalt 8 player had to left because of that stupid ignorance. We have complained about high fuel costs before, signed a huge petition but Gameloft still stuffs a 5 fuel costs up fair free2win players. #WorstAnniversaryEver #RIPAsphalt8

Hey Feuerrm. I totally agree with you. This new multiplayer system is so flawed. I had my Sin r1 at rank 1477 were it demolished all competition, and now everything demolishes me. Signed that petition first thing.

OMG I hate the new MP system, and There are SO MANY bugs in MP now, which include: Massive rating decreases by 500+ Random number of points given out for no reason Losing rating when coming in 1st place

I agree with a lot of what you said about the new system. The obvious flaws, such as the huge bias towards cars with exceptional acceleration is ridiculous and boring. That being said, there are huge flaws in the old system as well. The ranking system has a huge loophole IMO, especially with the SE cars that can start at a ridiculously low rank. New players to the game have no chance against these cars. This too is unfair. So, unless Gameloft wants to make A8 multiplayer an exclusive club for certain players, they had better come up with a better solution. From a business perspective, to just ignore the new players (Noobs) would not make their business grow. The frustration is at both ends. My personal thoughts on a fix is to bring back the old system, but increase the ranks of the SE's.

If other factors such as other stats (acceleration, nitro, nitro duration, etc.), the new system would be better. But since it's just based off of speed, mp4-8s & donkervoorts will dominate due to great acceleration. The car rank system should be revised rather. The way how it's computed is just terrible. If they'd fix that instead, Multiplayer will be more fair. The original matchmaking wasn't perfect but this has too much flaws. Already signed it and hope whoever read this did as well.

Problems with the R8 SE? Should've won it in the event. I farmed like hell as a newer player when that came up so that I could secure it. No need to break the whole of MP over one vehicle. You're right though, the new system is basically Donkervoort/MP4/8/McLaren MP25/Rezvani BA which is incredibly boring. I also lost 500 ranking points due to a glitch in the system where I couldn't enter MP, so that's grand.

Oof feels bad man. I returned to a8 for the anniversary rewards and played multiplayer. I thought there was bad matchmaking because there were less people playing a8. Thanks for the info about the new multiplayer.

Feuerrm, we should also add for Gameloft to restore our old rankings. I lost so many damn points because I had no idea why my MP tuned Apollo was paired with maxproed ones.

So my best multiplayer car is the Rank 1595 MP4-25 right now. I cannot use my Rank 1262 M2 SE anymore because it's acceleration is horrible.

the bm2 se is really good in its 900s, from the races i got, i sped past everybody and had like 10 more max mph (this is in new and old mp)

I lost 233 points due to the system. The worst part is, I raced 3 times, lost 10 points, then 233 points just vanished.

This new sistem is quite good but it's unfair because in this racing mood if...you are so good and start first .you win. But it is incomplete and unfair for some racers.

Feuerrm EVERY car with BEAST accel is OP AF in multiplayer and a helpful tip to win is to NEVER use tuning kit and ALWAYS use nitro starters but to be honest i like this new mp system more because my rezvani is sooooo good and only the mp48 can beat me when in the old mp system my rezvani SUCKED Edit: I only like this new mp system because i can actually win races with my rezvani without losing 99 & of races with it :/ but i kinda want the old mp system back because i love to use my 1385 ranked TVR sagaris which took me FOREVER to get 2nd edit: Ill sign the petition because its just sad to see pro and champion league players go down a ton from low ranked players

Actually the most straightforward way to decrease R8 SE’s overpowerness is just simply increase its starting rank by 500 to 1000 since it’s starting rank is only 459 which is ridiculously low for an A class car. GL really love making things more complicated than it looks like.

her is what I think is going to happen, gameloft, WILL revert the matchmaking system to what it was, but that's going to happen in the NEXT mp season, as of now, I suggest just using whatever works, things like the LaFerrari, the Sesto Elemento, etc

I had so many mp tuned car but they are like totally worthless, on the other hand my previous useless cars like silver lightning is rocking on all tracks (almost), now what matters is only acceleration and nitro efficiency, I totally don't hate the new system but at least some modifications must be made based on acceleration along with the top speed, so that great cars like Corvette gs don't get beaten up by a lykan or something else like that, and one more thing I would like to mention, if elite tuning doesn't work anymore then what is the use of the elite option, either make elite tuning work again or totally remote elite tune option and make the cars like other normal cars

I don't even know what had more variety; the old system or new system. Old one was R8 SE and SLK everywhere. Now it's Donkervoorts, MP4/8, and MP4-25. RIP the three only good Class A Chevrolet cars.

I completely agree with changing back to the old system I literally don't know why people are moaning over the special edition cars when 1 you work so hard to get them and if you have the right car to beat them they're not really a problem anymore I've already signed the petition.

A long time ago I was playing MP in my DeZir I was in challenger league doe :P anyways there was another dezir that was in Champion league I didn't know there was another dezir in the race and near the end I was about to get 1st place but guess what he knocks me down :/

This system is so stupid. Last season i worked hard to get to champion league and get Camaro SS and as i can see now, it was absolutly worthless. (as well as my Apollo IE, M2 SE, Rezvani Beast, X2 and my list of kings goes on)

To be fair, the only things that made the special editions "special" from their normal counterparts were some spoilers, fancy decal and some plastic body kits.

People worked hard for the cobra as well and this system makes the cobra good again!

I had a gruelingly hard time with my GTA spano, it was too slow and I was fighting OP cars that killed me in seconds...

Not as bad as A9's player's rank-based mp system, where you will be facing 2900 nsx and 3100 aventador sv in your 1645 srt8

I don't play A8 much, but this makes me want to quit A9. Because in a few years time, all of my effort that went into A9 would all go to waste when the new game comes out.
