Hello,
In this episode, I will show how I made battery box for my zero turn grasshopper mower. I built it out of scrap metal to protect the battery. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me and I will be happy to answer your questions.

Nice work. I noticed the cables were resting directly upon the edge of the battery box rear wall. Could you not put a longitudinal slice into a rubber hose and slip it over the wall and under the cables. I believe this would prevent friction between the cables and the box wall from rubbing away the cable insulation. Or, you may already have a solution not illustrated in the video. Good morning brothe. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I wrapped the positive terminal with friction tape then topped it with red tape. Since I finished with this project, I added rubber hose around the two battery cables and secure it with tie wraps (like what you suggested). I also have round edges where the cable touch the box to prevent damaging the cables. Thank you and have a blessed day
