Hi everyone,
This is Part 1 of a 2-part series talking about DIY-ing booklets for zines. I wanted to discuss different reasons why you might want to make booklets yourself rather than having a printer do it for you.
"Finishing" zines involve stapling (or other way of binding) the pages, scoring, folding, and trimming the booklets.
I also showcase some examples of DIY-finished zines to provide some inspiration for your project.
In the next video, I will be showing how to make the booklets.

hey, its good to see that you are putting this segment machine to so much use. Artist indeed of the trade. I use a riso 3230 in my print shop. I can't find much applications of Riso 3230 for my customers who are mostly walk in. I have blue and a red colour drum which I traded for the black one.

Ohhh so I started an 8 month intensive certificate course recently and it's KILLING ME!!!! So I haven't been able to film, edit, and upload!!! I'll see if I can do it over winter break... but I only have two weeks off until the next term starts!!! T_T THANK YOU though for watching part 1!!!! T_T T_T
