Recommendations for first-time campers and experienced individuals taking someone camping for the first time.
Here are some starter gear recommendations. Please DON'T buy stuff that's sold as "for kids." It's usually extremely low quality and heavy, and your kids will grow out of it sooner rather than later. If you're going to by a kid something like a sleeping bag, get a decent adult one and it will last years.
