You got me tearing up sis. I know what it means to lose a parent, having lost my day 4 years ago. You feel like there’s so much you couldn’t do together and I bet even if we spent a 100 years with them, we would still miss them. May they continue to watch over us. You sound like you were just as spoilt when she was alive 😄😄😄. Oh yes, I used to call her all the time when she was back home. And sometimes she will even call after watching a video and say, “you should have done” so and so. SHADE no de3 they don’t hesitate at all to throw them oo. We naa we cause am 😄😄😄. And mama has been saying something similar about if I don’t involve Ivanna a lot more in the kitchen, one day I would have helped so many others to cook while my own daughter will be unable to. At my age, I never thought I would be looking for anyone that looks anything close to mummy, in any crowd or on the streets of NY, even in Macys koraa, lol, as soon as I see any lady that's a bit tall like her, i can see her in them, and they dint even look like her. In my dad's 60s and 70s when we would catch him crying and we run to tell mummy that her crazy husband is crying for no reason, she would go and ask him, and he'll say he misses his mom, and we would all laughing at him and thinking he was only crying becos he just had a couple of STAR BEER, and mummy would explain to us that, u kids wait till we are gone, and u will understand how a grown older man is crying for his mom! It never matters how old u get, it never goes away, it's just innate, and supposed to be that way..I especially miss exactly what u said, about so many things u wish they were here to answer or explain to u better! Hmm. Please get Ivanna involved before it's too late! U know in this country, if u dont introduce that and be persistent, they dont find any importance in it, and will be walking around bragging about how they cant cook or dont cook! I got my son into it from the moment he could walk, and now, I cant get him out of the kitchen. Teenage years, he was trying to impress his friends like he doesnt even know the kitchen, I said, "hey massa, I beg, dont play with this important skill oooo, and one day u will be glad u got good at it, and even those friends will respect u for it!" Then when I hit him with my famous line, "by the way, it's a big chick magnet ooo!" Wow!He lost his mind, asking me for butter flour and vanilla to make pancakes for breakfast the next morning. Hahaha! Now, he even does more than me. He started taking his own orders in college, during holiday seasons and when he can, in his dorm room for students for dinners, parties, and making so much money! Especially for the girls...otwia! Hahaha! She lived in Obuase too, in her early years with my dad as very young couple..but originally from Sehwi.
