Thanks so much for giving your time to help others. I am waiting for the arrival of my new cricut maker. Card making is my first project. I want to design a card inviting others to my church. Your video gave me the starting point i lacked. Did not know i could pull envelopes images from Design Space. Thanks a bunch. God bless.
Hello from Dallas. I just a crafter make envelopes out of some beautiful papers, but couldn’t figure out how to size it. Then I found you. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for the Cricut tutorials! Very helpful to new owners and a great refresher to those, like me, who do not use their machine as often as we would like.
We all need envelopes for the cards we create. Especially the fist style with the flap that can’t be created with a punch board. Thank you for a easy to follow tutorial! Elaine
This is super helpful! I actually didn't even think of making envelopes with the Cricut!! I just got it so I'm not sure what all I can do yet! But now I know about envelopes!!!
Thank you for sharing! I needed this today! I would like to see a tutorial on placing a cut out on the flap of the envelope and a piece to insert behind the cutout in a contrasting paper. Thanks so much!
@@SugarShineDesigns I think just a cut out on the flap with a contrasted backing that shows through the cut out. I think it might be considered a liner???? I dunno🥴 I actually played with cricut design space tonight, and figured it out, but others might want to know how to do it!
Wow! Your video on this was so simple and easy to follow. I have a Cricut coming in a couple days and was really excited to start making cards with it, but realised I had no idea how to make envelopes for said cards. Thank you so much for this video. I'm really excited to try these out now. I bought most of my supplies already, but I was missing a lightgrip mat. I used your affiliate link. :) I look forward to watching more of your videos as I dive into this new section of the crafting world.
Thank you and congrats on your new purchase. You’re going to love it! I appreciate your purchase too. It really helps me afford the things I bring to my channel to show. Welcome to the Cricut nation!!
Thank you, I've needed this for so long. Btw I still have several Cricut machines. Expression, Explore and the Maker. Can't let them go. I use my original Expression when using scal. Because of this video I subscribed. Thanks again.
I’m always so happy to hear that I can help! Thank you for subscribing. If there’s anything you’d like to see, please don’t hesitate to make a request. 🤗
Awesome 👏. Thank you so much. I have seen Several tutorials on how to make diamonds card but they don’t use the Cricut machine. They use a scoring board. Do you think you could do a tutorial on how to make it on Cricut? Love the simplicity of your tutorial. Thanks for the video.
I'd love to know how you all find the envelope layouts. When I type envelope in the search all I get is image of envelopes not layouts to make an envlope its very frustrating
Yes, I’m finding that too. Cricut has made a lot of changes which make my directions difficult to follow. I find templates but at the end of the image listings. Go there and work your way up and you will see some envelopes you can choose to cut. Search for envelope template.
To make an A10 or 6x9.5 envelope, cricut explore/maker says that the size is too large for that machine. I just ended up ordering A10 envelopes on Amazon. Frustrated
Did you try using a 12 x 24 mat size? I believe that should allow it. But yes, a 12 x 12 size paper would be tough to fit that size. Sorry for your frustration. Cricut can do that to you.
When cutting your envelopes, if you were to use a card stock paper with a design would you place the paper face down in order for the score lines to be on inside?
Generally the rule of thumb is score on the right side. It just depends on which way you like to see the score lines but usually most people score on the right side.
