Ive watched 10+ videos so car and this is the best card making video I’ve watched so far! It really is for beginners, it was beginner level, very simple, all the steps were explained but not over explained! It was straight to the point and quick so I didn’t mind watching it.

thank you Erica! your first tutorial was great. i found i had to watch your video on the TV so i could use my laptop for following you along and it was great as i could rewind when necessary. my card came out ok. the little corner cuts didn't seem to really cut thru the card stock but other than that it was at least the first and only thing i have accomplished since getting my maker a couple months ago. thank you so much. plan on watching CORE 2 next.

I when step by step. Got behind when you hit that shift key that wasn’t on the iPad but I was still able to put the score line in that had to be cut. I made my first card with your instructions. I have been watching videos for weeks messing up paper and vinyl. Thank you fir knowing how to teach and instruct so simply.

With the other”beginner” instructors, they assume that you know so much. Most of us are having to learn on our own through videos. I’ve watched countless videos in trying to figure out the grey box that looms to the right on the canvas. You explain some of its purpose. Just trying to find a video describing the use of more than one mat has eluded me. So much again is assumed. Once you showed it, I liked to have fallen over in how easy it is. If you are a beginner with a Cricut Explore Air 2 - watch this video. Please, tell us you will have more videos. It seems that you understand what a beginner needs to see and hear. Why would you want to use guess work when setting the angle for the little cut lines? It's so much easier to type 45° in the window above? I like using provided tools when possible. This was a really nice tutorial. I appreciate that everything was right to the point without a lot of unnecessary chatter in between. Thanks!

Awesome outcome! A few options were different but nothing i couldn’t figure out. Mine didn’t have the slice option highlighted. Somehow my text came out cut out.

Whenever I try to do my score lines to cut, my whole box keeps moving and then I can’t pick up my score line and place it in the corner. So frustrating! Please help

Is there any way to use the align feature to get the heart perfectly centered in the front section of the card? Besides eyeballing it? I have been looking for a Tutorial for exactly this, saw your thumbnail for your video and figured it would show this but unfortunately you just placed it there. Would love to hear how to get a shape centered on the front panel using the align feature. Thanks!

Hi, for some reason I can take the top heart out but not the pink one. Any ideas? I've watched the video 2 times now and also started over. My cut says basic cut and can't figure out how to change it to just cut. Sorry still learning!

I used the scoring stylus but I dont know what did I do wrong that it didnt do the cut on the scoring lines at the corners.

Hi, I'm having problem with then line shape, my cursor cannot move it or drag it into places every time I resize it or move it diagonally, do you know why?

I Purchased my Cricut just before the pandemic lockdown and was planning to attend classes at JoAnn's but have not been able. Most videos that I have watch really do not explain well for a beginner.
