Great review. I am using Dedica 685 at home and now is the time to get hand grinder (I only drink coffee at home for weekends, no point spending too much). Do you recommend C3 or C3 pro for home espresso? Tnx
Would be glad if you can try n share on light roast, full wash arabika, what click will be suitable for brewing through Turkish coffee method(use Cezve). I have Timemore Chestnut C3,too. Intend to try Flores Manggarai light roast full wash, altitude 1500meter,but I'm doubt whether C3 can produce fine powder around 300-400micron. Or may affect burr sharpness if it is used for very fine powder. Thank you so much for your insight .
I think you can go down to roughly 4 or 5 clicks without damage but I'm not sure it would be fine enough for Cezve and also it would take ages on the C3
Thanks for watching! we actually made a couple videos on the Wacaco Pircopresso and Yes, it will be very similar experience to the Aram. as both coffee makers dont use pressurised baskets.
This is the Aram Coffee Maker, Check it out here: thebasicbarista.com/products/aram-espresso-maker-steel-support?_pos=1&_psq=aram&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Thanks for watching!🙏
@@TheBasicBarista I'm trying to get into making my own coffee... did not expect it to cost half that much 8O. It looks so simple, why is it so expensive? edit: Just realized that this must be your company. I don't mean any offense. I know nothing about this stuff, so I'm genuinely curious. I love the simplicity of it. no computers, no electricity, etc.
Hi. Thank you for your video. Im new at coffee. But i want to open very small coffee shop. May be in 1 day under 15 cups espresso. Can c3 handle it? How about durability? I have limited budget.
The problem with manual grinders is consistency. Sure you can grind 15 cups per day with it, but you never apply the same force, the same speed, the same anything. Your clients will be fine with one cup, but the other day they could feel an unpleasant difference. This method is thought for personal use and not many per day. Of course it's not ready for a rush (as you can see, it'll take 1:15 mins just to grind). It's a cute idea, but a nightmare execution.
