Deuki Hong of Sunday Hospitality Group is at home making his favorite snack from Korea: street toast stuffed with eggs, cheese, crunchy veggies, and lots of flavor. Deuki uses simple but tasty ingredients like Japanese milk bread, American cheese, thinly sliced cabbage, onions, and scallions, plus condiments like ketchup, Kewpie mayo, and a sprinkle of sugar.

I put pickles, mustard, some sliced hot peppers (or pickled jalapeños) and a slice of ham whenever I make these. It is a SUBSTANTIAL meal. Love Korean street toast ❤️

Yes I made this with just cabbage, cheese, sugar and ketchup since I didn't have onions and it's crazy how well those flavors go together. Amazing!

I'm amazed that he calls that sandwich a snack. For me that's a full meal :D But other than that great video! I also liked that he shows so much respect to the streetfood culture in S.Korea. Those stands are usually run by hardworking older citizen and they are the heart and soul of this culture.

It is you are right but if you walk around you will see both in signs because some people don't want to pay the extra money for the 토스트 part on the banner or will just write it on paper and tape it.
