Super cool experiment! I really like how you explained the experiment's reasoning, not just telling us what to do. I'll be sure to share it with others that are interested in chemistry!
I was interested in the color change reasoning but I'm confused by your explanation of higher frequency light ( longer) wavelength. Higher frequencies have shorter wavelengths.
Thanks for the comment! In the video we were attempting to refer to longer wavelengths not higher frequencies but the wording we used was not the best. I will make sure to address this. I appreciate you pointing this out! We probably should have made that a bit more clear with a diagram. The underlying premise is that the larger particles absorb longer wavelengths of light. This wavelength is actually equal to the particle diameter Thanks!
One of the best noted point is that gradually changing the color from red to royal blue or purple , regarding these colours we know the best sizes of Gold nano particles. Thanks with best regards.🤗🌹🤗
Hello, I want to put the gold in a salt-like form like sugar, that is, I want to dissolve it in normal drinking water (nanopathicular). I would appreciate it if you could help me, thank you in advance.
