You as a hairdresser can understand it. But most of them don't. Its rare to find such a knowledgeable hairdresser. Mine just coloured my hair with mo instructions about the hair care afterwards whatsoever. Now i am here researching how to make my hair colour last longer 🙄

Very informative Mike. Being a natural level 4, I had balayage done and I was almost level 9. Loved my blonde hair but the brassy tones made it extremely difficult to manage. I'm planning on going chocolate brown. Not sure though

I have natural medium brown hair. Recently, I went back to a ruby red hair color that I love. The red seems to fade really quickly. I condition my hair daily, not washing, but conditioning. I also use leave in moisturizing oil. I do use a lot of hair products on my hair to spike it, could this cause fading?

My gray comes back in two weeks. Using Wella koleston perm color 77/0 and 20 developer. My hairdresser does is once every 9 weeks and I do touch ups myself but my hair is thinning and hate doing it every two weeks. I use Pantene for color treated hair. Only wash once a week 🤦‍♀️ Is it the shampoo? Or the Wella ???

Red is a tricky one! I would recommend using something like colour deposit mask to maintain the red tone x

Fantastic video! I went from a dark brown to a level 7 lift and then died it a bright copper/orange. My salon uses karastasse and while it’s an amazing brand, it’s just too far out of my price range!
