I just found out a few days ago, but in the "Choose Option menu" under "Combat & Action Bar" setting, you can check the box for "Hide familiar options" Now if you click your familiar, nothing happens. It'll save you some troubles.
On the Boss 2 , you can walk on the sides and not start the fight , so you can gain stacks for necro on the pilons , and even death mark them so you dont have to mid figth. GL on the grinds
Here's a tip that I've heard and even seen in your footage @10:29 Every time those tiles explode, your dive ability resets. Not sure if this is specific to Nakatra or just that mechanic in general, but it's certainly worth noting for mobility.
I probably should have also mentioned that if you surge straight after crossing the gap. Your conjures will teleport to you. So you conjure army, cross gap+life transfer, command ghost, Invoke death, then command skeleton + surge on the same tick... Your skeleton will appear right by you and immediately start attacking.
For necromancy users: the moonstone prison makes a great tool for easy heals and dps against boss. After the attack you can go back in the cage and use blood siphon for a free max heal and you will also charge up a good bit of damage against the boss. You can intentionally do the same thing on the first boss.
7:20 if you stand on the right side of the second gold bar on the floor. You wouldn't have to move at all. Also at 9:54 you can see that the image on the wall glowed when Nakatra do the mechanic.
At the second boss, you can dive onto the Bird Icon on the left side of the arena (when the camera is above the broken bridge). It's 100% safe spot for the first mech, and you don't have to move at all.
As someone who only started PVM/bossing when necro released, this dungeon in hm has tested my sanity more than any other boss. I can do rasial on autopilot without even thinking but this is a completely different beast. 13 hm kills and probably 150+ deaths...
You aren't alone, I only just really got it down consistently. But even then I am still dying fairly often. I have absolutely used the hell out of free deaths though lol
The 2nd boss’s first “squares” attack or whatever is always the same. So you can run/dive to certain tiles and not have to move at all. As well as when it uses that move later in the fight, it always has the same safe spots.
@@Aen.X7I’m talking about the literal first attack (when he says “Dhaaarken”)… not the “Kyaaa” and “Graaah” attacks. If you watch vods you can see there are tiles that never get touched.
Yeah they are the same, the order can just be different in which he uses them. I think you can out range it right? if you stay on the edge of the arena maybe.
For the next video, maybe talk about the dodge mechanic in the last boss' last phase square bombs. Walking on the gold tile is easier than diving and escaping from it.
something i do on the second boss is when he says Kyaaa i walk inward and force his next attack to melee distance aoe, then walk back in so his third attack is melee distance as well
I've personally found, using necro, that saving my adren and damage stuff to kill the obelisks really fast, instead of using Obliteration, gives me better times. With magic though it seems worth.
Finally got my 100 hardmode kills for aura last night! The first tip semms like it may get patched, the one about the familliar is a good tip but i find myself clicking on conjures more than anything, and it only happens on 2nd boss, iv only ever done it 1 time at nakatra
@@jubul666 There is an option in the settings that turns off diving to scenery. This may work with conjures as well. I discovered this from the annoying rings at big game hunter constantly cancelling my dives
can SOMEONE PLEASE tell me: Does leaving to bank for more food between kills OR dying and using on of the life resurrections on Normal MODE, LESSEN the chance for loot (t95 weps or scriptures)?
I’ve been using commander porkings for months now as a familiar override because of this specific reason. I really hope they just leave it the way it is.
I put an obliteration staff into an essence of finality because i was sick of having to resummon and lose my stacks every time i wanted to use the obliteration staff spec on the kezalam pillars. i thought i was genius. I was not. it doesn't work, it won't let me cast the special attack or the EOF spec and i don't know why. If anyone knows please tell me
I've figured it out. For anyone interested in being able to cast "Devour" without having to re-summon your conjures or lose your necro stacks, you just need to equip the EOF with the Obliteration staff spec in it as well as a main-hand magic wand, i just used abyssal wand was in my bank, and it worked. I keep my stacks and summons out which makes using the spec much easier.
Spawninf them from the other side then going over isn't good lol Yes you extend but the time then wasted going over and running to the boss means you lose.most of that time
