I haven’t played since it first came out, looks much cleaner now! I just had surgery on my arm and can’t use it for atleast a month, is it playable with one hand? Can I become competitive or am I so far behind now? Can it be played in a party, my wife may join me.
When you're looking at your preset settings, you can drag items from your inventory and put them to your preset. This is advantageous when you have an item you want to pull all of an item out with your preset when you load it, ie bakriminal bolt tips for bak runs.
Ethereal comps are super easy to get actually, do div sims and dissa all the healing ports they give you or pickpocket amlodd for them and dissa. I have hundreds of them i'll never use because of doing div sims
Scavenging is so useful. I mostly play Ironman, so buying stuff generally isn't an option. I have scavenging 3-4 on most of my combat sets. It all adds up over time.
This. If wens poring, stalling abilities on crystal, etc. are allowed hopefully this stays. Range needs some heals with how much you need in the inv anyway.
You act like they're actually going to patch it from 1 vid. It's been in the game for years and honestly isn't any better than healing for other cb styles so I doub't they'll do anything about it even if every single Jmod watches this.
If you going to do the scavenging method you should really only use the 1 augmented item with the perk on and a bunch of other non-degrade item, otherwise you are burning diving charges for little benefit.
For the pylons. When learning, kill the two by the chest and the one in the center. When you teleport back in, the 3 he did kill will not hit you unless you step towards them. As for Sanctum guardian, most seem to prefer to just surge/dive towards the left, instead of choosing the specific spot he chose during learning. And he moved left AFTER the targeting was done. Being in the middle or left of it is safe for the start of the water gun, but you must be more than 2 squares towards the right of the center to avoid it on the end of it.
So I found the eof switch thing a few years ago now, and experimented with it a bit. I found it independently, and at the time there was no other info about it that I could find, but I figure someone had to have found it before or after. I only told a few people about it and played around with it for a few hours. At the time there weren't actually that many specs it worked with, and none of them were all that good, but a lot of specs have been changed since then, and I completely blanked on the fact that that might make the method a lot better. Also, warning: like I said I found and tested this years ago. The following information is accurate to the best of my knowledge, but I could easily be forgetting something or misremembering. All that being said, here's how it actually works, afaik: Specs, like many abilities, have different timings on the activation of the ability, the hit of the ability, and any secondary effects of the ability. So it works like grimshawing or 4taa - switching between items/effects allows you to gain the benefits of both. In the case InitYeah showed above, what's happening is the following: 1: the dark bow spec is activated, draining 65% adren (or 58.5% with rov) 2: he switches to the saradomin bow eof 3: the dark bow spec hits, and damage is calculated 4: after damage is calced, the game looks for any extra effects that are based on damage dealt (it can't do this before step 3 is finished because the effects are based on damage dealt - the game has to actually have that value first) 5: the extra effect is calced and applied Effectively, you're using the dbow spec, then when the game looks for any extra damage-dependent effects it checks the eof you're currently wearing, and if you've switched before the check it'll apply the extra effect of whatever eof spec you've switched to. It costs the adren cost and does the damage of the first spec, and activates the extra effect of the second. The extra effect is scaled to the damage of the first spec, and costs no extra adren. You can see in the video that the healing from the sara bow effect is super high, because it's being scaled based on the dbow damage, which is much higher than what a sara bow can manage. Back when I found it the only spec I found that was useful was the seercull - the magic level drain scaling off of the dbow damage could drain almost 100 levels if you were in ds and fully buffed up. That was pretty niche, but it did mean that any boss with primarily magic based attacks had super low accuracy. That will no longer work, I don't think, since the reduction is a flat value now, rather than scaling off of damage dealt. Also of note is that there was something I never quite figured out: It doesn't seem to work if the initial spec has any kind of secondary effect, damage based or not. This seems inconsistent with the above explanation of how it works - if the game only checks for secondary effects after damage is calced then it should *always* use the second spec's effect, instead it always uses the first spec's effect, if it has one, and if non-damage based effects happen elsewhere in the process (as would have to be the case if the above explanation is how it works) then both spec effects should be applied - the first one as normal, and then the second after damage is dealt. If non-damage based effects were applied at the same time then they would work as a second eof effect, since you'd still have the initial activation -> hit -> effect chain that would allow you to change eofs before the hit. The second spec effect only seems to work if its scaling is based on damage done, so most specs can't be combo'ed even if the first spec has no extra effects. Also, there are only 5 specs that have secondary effects that scale on damage dealt, rather than being static or based on ability damage. The list (I just did a quick wiki search and ctrl+f searched for "damage dealt" on the weapon spec page, so this list may be incomplete) is: Saradomin godsword Bandos godsword Ancient mace Guthix bow Saradomin bow Also, and I just though of this while typing, I never actually tested with specs from different styles. It's entirely possible you could dbow into saradomin godsword. Idk how that would work, but my understanding of this whole thing is incomplete in the first place, so whatever. I might test it, but probably not. All my eofs are filled with stuff atm, and I don't wanna buy a new one for this. I guess I could switch out my gstaff eof for a bit to test. That would only cost 80k to replace. But also am lazy so meh. Also also, I realized while typing this that I never tested for dot specs. Dots are technically pure damage effects, but with extra stuff going on after the initial hit, so idk how that would work, or if it would. Tl;dr, the same basic method can be used to combo any two specs so long as the first spec *only* does damage, and the second spec has an effect that scales off of damage dealt. Also, my understanding of the process is incomplete and there are issues that seem to contradict it. More testing required. The easiest way to hotfix this on Jagex's end of things would probably be to just change the above mentioned 5 specs to static effects or ability damage scaling. Otherwise they'd probably have to look into changing the actual order of operations for how combat effects are calculated, and that seems like waaay more work for similar effect.
does it only work with abilities in eof then? can you not just use darkbow and then switch to sara bow? maybe the game is checking the source too then? and as they're both in an eof, it can't distinguish a different source? can you cross-styles? could you necro deathguard eof for 30k and then zuk sword eof for mad bleed damage? or even sara bow for mad heals (although sgb probablty gives more, although not as costly) seems game-breaking and a lot of options for trickery
I go into chaos tunnels. The place has a lot of monsters. Many varieties, the skeletons are what I'm mostly interested in. If you move to sections of the room walls. The Skeletons re-aggro you. No need for aggression potions. I'm not sure if that was intended these days. But it has always been there. Not as completely safe as corpse spiders. Some gear is required, nothing expensive though. Yes, the portal can be difficult to navigate through but once you're there you don't leave. The reason why I chose this instead of corpse spiders is you cannot level your weapon at the spiders.
Pre necro release... i used snipe at nex alot. Since the second arrow would tend hit the blood reavers that healed nex..followed up with grico blood phase semi stress free besides the dps check

You reporting that bug (that I’ll never use because 2 EOF out of budget ~avg player I am~ I spam food instead of focus dps anyways) is absolutely ridiculous and such a dick move how dare you take that away from the 0.01% of players who use that. UNSUB

Eh, the Saradomin bow EOF looks no more powerful than the ghost from necromancy, except the ghost doesn't cost adrenaline. How long does the healing effect last?
I was the one who made in it aware about the dbow Sara heal... & I feel I need to say something as a lot of hate is going his way & for what reason? Because you are bad at pvm & can't use defensives correctly? Because as far as I am aware every single boss in the game is doable without that bug! I have had fun with the bug myself & trust me where this trick came from Jagex already knew about it!! So with or without init making a video it would be fixed... Which is only correct in my opinion it's fun but it's Broken on a next level, stop the hate, put that energy into improving your skill.
I agree with your general message, but not everyone has the luxury to improve much. Membership is expensive and people want to invest that time in a proper way, not all people can take a lot of that time to learn bosses. Having an extra way to heal while learning mechanics is amazing. Aside from that, internet connection, hardware, gaming gadgets and other stuff makes a lot of difference in skill between players. I've had the privilege to get a better internet connection a few years ago and that helps a lot. Insulting people not so much

For all you complaining that I mentioned a BUG in game that absolutely needs fixing. Considering how important game integrity is to all of you high level players (Only high levels are using this) I have made sure to link the video and explain it to a jmod <3 Hope it gets fixed soon! You guys don't need a bug to pvm, you all play perfectly fine without it. You are only devaluing your accomplishments right? We constantly talk about game integrity, but now I am curious if it is just ''well.. only if it benefits me''. I am into RuneScape for the long term, so game integrity matters. If bringing light on a bug is such an issue that people unsub, so be it.

A Friend released a video where he used the daemonheim skillcape crafting training bug. It got patched a few weeks later. If it's not something you can directly use to grief other people or print billions for nothing, not talking about the bug you found is kinda just keeping it for yourself. Funny enough, I didn't know this existed with the Sara bow but had tried many times to see if there was some kinda cheese like it last summer. I'm gonna stick to camping SS and spamming Magma Tempest because that's more fun tho :P
You are assuming jmods already knew then? So in this case, if it wasn't a problem. It will be fine and wont get fixed. If they didn't know, and it is a problem, then it should be fixed. Cmon, you don't need bugs to pvm. Players are always talking about how achievements are made less rewarding by updates. But when it comes to things like this, it is suddenly all good?
One tip i wish i would have known earlier, In the Pof house there are a few squares you can stand in and you can check every pen and trough without moving. Speeds farming up a lot and makes it less tedious.
Did you know you can use the liquid patch bomb or the patch from from garden of Kharid shop along with the dwarven harvester it only uses one charge up of the dwarven harvester and doubles all of your produce for instead of each herb individually to take up one charge feel free to ping me if you are confused
This works with all patch bombs not just the liquid ones you make with invention. patch bombs from thaler shop/cfp minigame and the desert garden shop all work the same. Just set dwarvern harvester to 2x material no xp setting and use the patch bomb on the fully grown patch. This is also effected but bonus produce buffs such as the aura or farming juju if you are doing herbs with it. Edit: forgot to add that you should DEFINITELY use perfect plus potion or perfect farming juju pot along with this method assuming you're going to buy instagrowth pots with your beans and spam out some growth/bombs. I typically do shroom patches instead of herb and average about 15-16m gp worth of loot in the 20minutes farming aura is active for.
@@adamchristenson1275 Because it is bug abuse? The only players using it are high end top 5% pvm'ers. They absolutely don't need to be bug abusing. We literally have a bug report button in game for stuff like this. But the average player wouldn't stumble across it so it would be down to only those that can abuse it to report it. Which considering it has been months, I highly doubt it would have been reported.
