How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a RU-vid channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin.
Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like.
These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

I live in Eloy Arizona which is south of Phoenix, they grow cotton down here. I am a UWP grad (77) who grew up and worked in Wisconsin until I retired. My father was a farm machinery mechanic (sorry Case), and I had several uncles who farmed so I enjoy your videos and like to see the weather change. Take Care.

Located in Western New York. I work at a Deere dealer which deals with 99% turf care and 1% Ag in our specific location. We are trying to expand our Ag presence and watching your videos helps me learn the Ag side of things. Thanks for all the informative videos. Manhattan Ks. We grow wheat corn soybeans. I am not a farmer, but I worked on farms from age 12 till about 14 when we moved to town. Hope prices are good, and yields high. We would starve without all your hard work. I will keep praying for you.

I live in Redwater, Alberta Canada which is about 40 miles north east of the City of Edmonton. Much of the land around here is farm land. Wheat, canola barley and oats are the main crops grown here. There is some beef cattle farming as well. I enjoy seeing the different type of farming that occurs in different areas. Keep up the great videos.

You can order at nmpecan.com They have a warehouse about 4 miles from my place. I sold all of mine earlier in the year. Harvest time is fixing to start. Theirs have been in cold storage and that’s the way to keep pecans fresh. Store bought pecans are old, discolored and stale. Once you taste fresh ones, you’ll never go back.

We are in rural northeast Missouri in the town of Kirksville. Kirksville has a state university, Truman, and also the original Osteopathic medical school, A.T. Still University. We are surrounded by farm and ranch land with an additional large amount of timber in the area. Your farm land reminds me much of the farmland both sets of my grandparents had when I was growing up!!

I farm in Emittsburg Md. My mom grew up in Angelica Wis. On a farm back in the 1930's- 1950's. I had uncles and cousins that started and took over family farms in Pulaski and Wausau Wis.through the 1900's- 2OOO.

Ryan, i am from grand county Colorado. i planted corn and beans at 8500 ft. ( i cream pale full) hand planted, harrowed into the ground. i got 4 bean sprouts and 30 corn stalks. corn got about knee high by September when killing frost came.

Ryan I am outside of Houston, Texas. We are starting a small cattle operation and have put our first three steers in the freezer this year. Slowly building up the farm business since it takes a lot of money to get off the ground. Between land, equipment and livestock it's not clear if we will ever make any of our money back. Lol!

We live in southeast Nebraska on a corn and soybean farm. Corn and beans never yield close to what you are seeing in our area. 50-60 bushel beans average and 150 to 180 bushels of corn average is the best we can hope for on our farm.
