Thank you for this conversation. This record was a huge comfort as my daughter’s marriage ended. There is so much hope in the entire record. I love that you talked about Keith Green. He was (still is) an incredible voice for Jesus. I got to see him live and I remember it was just him and a piano. I still listen to his songs!
Kristian, so happy for you and proud of the journey that you have allowed to take place in your life. It's not the 'what' of the addition but rather the 'why' behind the what that we have to deal with for true healing to take place. Walk in forgiveness and grace and continue to allow your heart to beat again (good ole Danny Gokey song that really spoke to me several years ago).
Amen…. You can’t get to the Y until you get rid of the what but you’re absolutely right that you do have to get to it. Otherwise, the white will manifest in other areas, other ways.
