like the camouflage Hi viz John.........Green trousers like the hedgerow and blue coat almost like the sky? You need to watch that you don't get hit by a van that has not seen you!
I think it’d be fair to say if a driver can’t see me on a bike they shouldn’t be driving. You’re saying that all motorcyclists shouldn’t wear leather at night, or vehicles shouldn’t be painted green or blue 😳
No John... It's all about giving YOURSELF as much chance as possible in that situation! Self preservation should maybe be the way to think.....not that someone is having a go!🤞
Looks quite a good bike for the price, adding a suspension seat post and better seat would make a huge difference, the stand did look rather wobbly. Good to hear the UK might allow more power and thumb throttle soon. My NZ ebike is a 300W 48V hub motor, gets me up the mile long very steep hill to home, which means I can get out and about on an ebike. It also has a thumb throttle, which is very useful for getting across busy road junctions.
I wouldn’t want this one because of the no rear suspension. At least you will be getting fit riding all these bikes, I won’t be buying a bike but I do watch your reviews as you never know, don’t know why people complain, if buying a bike it makes it easier for us to make a decision before we do buy. Keep being you, take care😊
Hey Martin, did you watch the recent update video? The previous video was a power bank video too, so you watch or don't watch what you like, but complaining about unsubscribing is a bit daft don't ya think?
@@GadgetJohnyou're probably better off without people like him, as you've previously explained you and Mandy have a lot on the plate at this point, if Martin can't give a little, then let him go,
I’ve been in the market for an E bike recently that isn’t heavy so can go on the back of the motorhome without issue. Have really valued your reviews and all the spec info. Just sayin’…
Thats a nice bike John. I like the wide handle bars and it seems quite a capable bike. I had a quick shufti at the website and its got all the extras like the suspension seat post, rear light , and more, so it looks like this is the minimal version, but thats fine at under a grand. I didn't think the hand grips were the best, and im not sure the stitching on them would last too long, especially in hilly environments where the grips would get a bit of a pounding. Nice one anyway John. Cheers. 👋🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦
Thanks for the review John, not enough weight capability for me unfortunately. I’m 160kgs so would love to see any bikes that will take my weight. I’ve been looking at one for use when away in the camper but haven’t found one that works for me yet.
Hari OM The lighter weight is about the only thing that attracts me to this one... re the road space, in Scotland (and, I'm pretty sure, the whole of UK) it is now a legal requirement to overtake a cyclist at full car width (conditions permitting)... quite what's supposed to be done about non-compliance, I have no idea - unless you can catch the rego plate and report them! YAM xx
Hiya GJ what are your opinions on swytch bikes, im looking to upgrade my orange G2 to electric but don't have the know how to fit one of the eBay/Amazon kits!
John, from watching your leg motion whilst peddling, I think your seat hight is too low meaning your peddling harder than you need too and maybe putting your joints under more stress and strain than is necessary. As a rule of thumb, when sat on the seat, your leg should be strait when you have your heel flat on the peddle when its at its lowest point (6 o'clock position). Once set at that, when you then peddle on the balls of your feet, you will find it places less stress on your knees and hips, and requires less effort to shift the bike along (always a good thing). I recognise the camera angles in the video might be deceptive but you do look too low in the saddle. PS, thank you for not wearing lycra whilst doing bike reviews 😉
Thanks, I know about leg and seat height. This is just a review video and when I get on and off the bike 40 times in 2 hours to move cameras etc. I can't have a seat height for power, I have a seat height for comfort. Thanks for watching.
I'm getting a lot of bikes together to put together a video featuring them all so I can help people decide which bike they should buy to suit their needs.
