The thing about semi-modular is if you really like what you’re hearing, two is always better than one! So when you’re getting in the $600 range, it’s difficult to justify! Just my opinion but I think most would agree with me. I look at Strega as an expensive noise module, yeah it’s different and could be useful for machinery sounds and substitution of noise in a Eurorack scenario at least that’s how I would use it. I’m waiting for new modules to arrive like victor and Chaos and others, I’ll see what they can do first, but I very well might get one of these! $599 is a lot though!😅
I think this is a close as I can permit myself to get to modular. It was an intriguing device to me but I also have zero experience in modular. I'm enjoying it and I do like that it has a tactile way of being used. Noise is definitely high on its list of capabilities. The interaction of the delay is pretty weird and fun.
I really appreciate that! 🥰Sometimes I'm equally worried about trying a different thing as I am about potentially boring people with my usual approach. Thanks.
@@pamelaa4010 Thanks for the pep talk! I appreciate it.🥰 The good news is I do mostly do this as a way to explore these fun machines in whatever direction my impulses take me, so I'm unlikely to have any longterm or arch strategy. Thrilled that I've found an audience too.
