Very good vídeo, thanks for sharing my dear friend. Wonderful and beautiful cactus *A GREAT JOB* Have happy Sunday. God bless you and family 🍀 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 🙏 🙏
Thank you. Appreciate your concerns. 😊💜 I think the gardens, who always overwater their succulents and cacti, should skip adding cocopeat in their potting mix. 😊💜
As long as you don’t use too much it’s not going to leave the soil in a soggy wet mess which is what rots cactus and succulents. It’s also with a gritty mix to which will create air pockets so it doesn’t stay too wet for too long.
Thankful so much 4 ur insights! Been struggling so much with making my tropical plants happy in not sunny de but your rational+knowledge insights i suspect will change the world. Thank u, u b djentuss
Hi, going to propergate some kalancheo cuttings. What soil mix would you recommend? Like watching your tutorials. Could you make a video on kalancheo plant? TIA
You can use the soil mix recipe I have shared in the video or you can prepare a simple soil by mixing 1 part fine sand & 1 part compost to propagate the cuttings. Also, here is a detailed video on kalanchoe propagation you can check out 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NIGHnESAk10.html 🌷🌷
Do you mean how often I water my cacti and succulents? I water my cacti when 90% of the soil is dry. And in the case of succulent, water them when the top 2-3 inches of soil dries out. I check my plants individually before watering. 🙂🙂
Hi I belong to Noida..too hot weather here..I am getting some cactus n Sacculents from Bhimtaal nurasary. . Please guide me for the soil mix..cocopeat n vermiculite should I add in soil mix? And what more ?
I apologise, that video has some technical issues. You can try this advance succulent soil mix, which is well-draining as well as prevent root rot 👉ru-vid.comrUb14WbeTHA?feature=share
I'm from Bangladesh and it works well for me so far. You can try premium succulents & cactus soil mix 👉ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pfpEYY-ep4U.html It is two times more well-draining. 😊🌱🌱🌱
You need to graft the moon cactuses if you want to keep them forever. 😊😊🌼🌼🌼 otherwise D-grafted baby moon cactus will die after planting in potting mix. 😞
I heard about bricks pieces can be used as alternatives for perlite but will that Bricks pieces won't get spyrogyra and damage the plants and garden soil many people uses is it suitable to use in Indian climate
Brick chips can be used as an alternative to Akadama soil but still, that is not 100% work similar to the Akadama soil. And I normally do not use soil in all types of succulents(generally do not use in echeveria, graptopetalum, etc.). But sandy soil can be used. 😊😊🌺🌺🌺🌼🌼
Check the soil moisture, over-watering rot cacti and turn the plant red, the plant can turn red due to sun stress, but overheating can rot the plant as well. 🌱🌻🌱🌻
