I made this exactly and in my oven/microwave preheated 170 for only 25 mins and turned out great! Quick tip is add hot milk and whisk just as shown and do not overmix the batter also when u beat the sugar make sure u make it creamy and fluffy and that makes the cake real moist and spongy! Amazing one and highly recommended.
Ok so imma be honest this is good like good my mom and brother loved it but I would like to give a little tip , add water to the pan like till it reaches your stand for cake and bake for 30 mins , I didn't add water and baked for 45 min as said and the bottom of my cake was completely burned like black and texture was also not like showed in vid use a beater to beat eggs and sugar for that texture , I don't have beater so I hand whisked for a long time but still it didn't came out like that but the taste is awesome just like the store bought just tad bit difference in texture but yeah I'm definitely gonna make it again I added butter cream frosting literally ❤
