Carvera brass milling test. Note this is a test machine that we are using for some extreme tests. We will surely install the dustproof mechanism on the formal machine.
The chip guard fitted on the side of the tool holder is something I had meant to suggest or in extremis make for myself if I end up buying one of these routers. Chips from machining landing on top of the index ring on each tool could cause issues with the tool changer or the chips could get jammed in the spindle after a tool change. There's also the issue of buildup of chips in the vacant tool position. Is there a future upgrade path for a more powerful laser later?
Thank you for your suggestion. We already have a simple solution for guarding the tool holder against dust, and the needed part will come with the machine. Yes, the more powerful laser module is on the future list. But we will see when we will do that based on users' feedback.
I am interested in pledging on Kickstarter but I need answers to some basic questions, but comments are closed to all except backers! Where can I send my questions?
