I didn't realize the FTZ had any firmware updates (I should have thought of it on my own) .. So thank you for this. I assume the FTZ has to be attached (as opposed to the firmware being held in camera). By the way - beautiful wallpaper.
Thank you for making this video. Very useful indeed. Just some silly questions. Do I need to attach a lens or just the adaptor alone when doing update? Also, after I update the firmware successfully, do I need to erase the files or format the SD card if I want to update the firmware for lens?
Good evening, i kindly have a question to You... Z50 apsc + Ftz + nikkor FF 70-200... Strange:The camera is not cropping.. If it were a dx lens... Is an upgrading matter? The same on D300 crops well... Many thanks. Cheers Angelo Italy
When nikon sell this to a customer they do not inform that this firmware is REQUIRED. Only after you start shooting thst you realise that you need to install the firmware
Thank you for this video. I liked it. I am a d750 user mainly do photos no videos. I am very happy with it but I think eye detect AF and IBIS will increase my speed of capturing moments and and have more keepers. My main lens is Nikon 24-70 2.8g. I purchased a z5 yesterday. I thought that on Z5 it will work at least as good as it worked on D750 for photos. In good light it is true. But in low light most of my pictures are blurry. I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong. I use eye detect in AFS and AFC mode. Very frustrating. It finds eye well but the review of picture show that eye was not sharp. Did you have the similar issues? Any suggestion from you will be much appreciated. Thanks.
@@neverenoughtimetotinker8439 Thnx fr the quick reply but that still did not work. I reckon my system has an issue reading .exe files. I read up about it online and am trying to fix this issue. Thank you again. :)
Someone was having the same problem and mentioned it on an earlier video. 2 things can happen but first, can you tell me what lens you are using and if you have a tap console for firmware updates of the lens?
@@anlsahal4147 There is a strange a little reference in the firmware section of that lens that suggests that the lens works but has some glitches in video for firmware 1.01... What version is your lens running? www.sigma-global.com/en/download/lenses/firmware/
@@anlsahal4147 I was just pointing out that if the lens was working with video and no mention of photo problems that, that implies it should work but it might depend of firmware. Can you check any local stores to see if they can offer the service?
