Anything you apply essential properties to becomes a template in after effects already. Place that comp in another comp and twirl down to the essential properties and you can access them very similarly to how we see them in Premiere.

I actually found an old video by Abrams where he made something similar. But you have to use a monotype font to make it work. Should be in his library.

You can do it for free with QuickTime! :) Just choose "File > New Screen Recording" in the menu.

Hi Evan, thanks for your marvelous video. I tried it out, but ran into problems when I wanted TWO lines of text (with different fonts/sizes), sort of like you use in your own intro. I run into problems probably because the anchor points of the text layer and the outline are messing things up. I see in the beginning of your video that you have an extra null layer and the two text layers are linked to that null layer. How do I set that up so that the outline scales to the size of both the text layers together?

how can we set the mogrt duration in premiere pro... maybe using an expression? (please don't give a tutorial for using a freeze frame)

Generally, I would recommend using protected regions in the mogrt. These allow for you to stretch the duration of a mogrt in premiere. Otherwise the duration is a fixed value. Otherwise, I would recommend making a mogrt to the theoretical maximum duration required and using expressions to change the timing of elements inside that fixed duration. I hope that helps.

how to animate any parametres in essential graphics panel of premiere pro? I have generated a template with a slider parameter which is a progress bar. I want to put keyframes to in premiere and make it from %0 to %100. But i cannot add keyframes to animate it. I can change the slider but i can not put keyframes. Any ideas?

Hi, do you know if after effects can use character functionality with text as you would do if you made the graphics in Premiere pro? I notice you cannot change text colour or text allignment etc.. I made some titles animated in after effects and the text allignment thing is bugging me a bit. Let me know what you think the best workflow is for this method. Callum

usually, this is done with the parenting function. Layers can be parented to one another using the little parent column on each layer. I hope that helps.
