I love and totally agree with this list. I do most of the things, but definitely have to get back to walking for exercise and sweating. I’m like you and just don’t sweat much. I used to walk my dog, but since she died I just haven’t been doing it even though I think it’s important. Thanks for the reminder.
I don’t have a lot of spare time but as I walk a lot I’ll read a book while I’m walking to work. People are often amazed at how I manage to do this but it’s something I’ve just always done. When walking but not to work I’m just immersing in nature.
I do not make my bed either lol. My husband gets up and makes our bed everyday. I figure I’m just going to get back in it so I straighten up before I jump in lol. I definitely need to work on my protein. I simply do not like meat so it is a huge struggle for me. 😊
These amazing protein powders I've been using have been a GAME CHANGER. I like meat, I just don't eat it every day, and definitely not with more than 1 meal... And I totally feel the same about the bed (straightening it up before going to bed) until I started implementing what I'm "preaching" and wow. It's made me pretty happy having a nicely made bed daily. Now, though, Bill expects it, so I guess I need to keep it up. :)
I don’t really mean this, but: “From the very beginning of creation we were made to be relational.” So, from the beginning of time we’ve been made to throw each other out of our homes, blame all of our problems on each other and substantially ruin each others lives? 😉
I'm not sure I understand, but I think you're pointing out some of the ways relationships go awry and are hurtful, sadly that is a fact of living in a fallen, sinful world. We do continually hurt others, especially those we love most sometimes, but that doesn't change the fact that we were created to be in relationships, even if we do things to undermine and destroy them
@@MichelleVisser All I’m saying is we need to lighten up. The fallenness of Creation is clear, but I’ve never found it practical to cast all our actions in such lofty religious ideals. Instead, it’s funny to admit that men and women have been complaining about each other since the beginning of time.
@@JohnNathanShopper gotcha. And I wasn't intending to spout lofty ideals, just saying maybe I should have made that goal the first on my list since we are definitely relational as humans, and we need healthy relationships... not just significant others, but close friends and relationships with family.
