This is a great easy quilt! I can just see all my scrap piles dwindle. I was so surprised to hear my name, I felt so special. Thank you! I have sister's twin in a skeleton rooster costume too! You are so much fun to visit with.
SURPRISE🤣❣️. You must love Halloween as much as I do then, I couldn’t resist when I saw i the skeleton. Thanks for having fun with me each week on my channel🎃😊❤️🐥
Omg! I love this Quilt! & even more that you have so much fun making it :) & that your #1 Fan was actually 1st this week, lol!! What a fabulous reminder that quilting should be fun!!
I watched your beach towel backing quilt making. Tonight as I was watch ING this the light bulb turned on....I have a once used Minnie Mouse towel lots of black, white and red fabrics to go along with my assortment of Minnie Mouse fabrics, now I'll have another Christmas present out of the way.Thank You.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for giving me permission to mix improv log cabin blocks with other “real” blocks! What I like best is that if my 1st block turned out undersized, it doesn’t have to go in a box for extra blocks that may never get added into a quilt. It is so pleasant to watch your videos ❤
You can also do it with panel pieces that arent the size you need! Recently I wanted to use small panel pieces with words but they were the 5" squares I needed so I took my scraps and log cabined around them than trimmed to size! It turned out so cute
I"m not normally a fan of Halloween, or Halloween fabrics, but the ones you used in the video (especially the backing fabric) were really cute!!!@@sisterchicksquilting
Aloha from Hawaii!! Thank you for this idea!! A big pile of Christmas fabric has been given to me and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with it!! Now I know-this idea will be just perfect!! Thank you again. Also, enjoyed The Engineers editorial comments throughout the video!!! 😀😀🌈‼️
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the “no pattern” pattern! After cutting the 4 1/2 & 3 1/2 strips (to subcut), the random log cabin style is a great way to use up the odd size strips that are leftover! Definitely will be using this “pattern” soon!
I got my beach towels and it's funny because I had almost the same exact colors in the quill I just so I end up getting the same beach towels you've got
I love this Halloween quilt. I went searching the house for fabric and found a Halloween panel that needs enhancing I think the blocks in your quilt would make great borders around the panel. I'm working on a Halloween quilt kit, but this looks like more fun. I like the engineer's captions. He is telling on you. I live in Turlock CA. We are about 2 hours from Sacramento, or San Francisco, or Monterey, or Yosemite. 😊
That’s awesome Janie, thank have fun making your Halloween quilt. And I know exactly where to like is that I’ve been there many times. In the 80s I lived in Stockton for two years. Thanks for watching my channel.🎃😊❤️🐥
So CUTE! Halloween is my favorite, too! This is adorable! I also love that they are adding more pinks in the Halloween fabrics, too! Looking forward to next week’s Halloween quilt. ❤
@sisterchicksquilting I put that box in the mail today with a couple of sewing notions hubby makes on his 3 D printer for me and my friends. Sorry it took so long. He makes other things, too, and his Etsy shop has kept him busy. Emjoy!
I'm sorry, I'll check and fix that if needed. Pleae visit my website for details and to sign up for the retreat. www.sisterchicksquilting.com/ You can read about the retreat then sign up. Thanks for asking & watching my channel, I hope to meet you at the retreat.
I love how you used classic blocks and added a twist to the log cabin block to bring this fun quilt together! Great job! Sister chick has a fabulous costume too!
You made such an ADORABLE HALLOWEEN QUILT! 🥰 I love how you share the way you’ve put everything together with all of us, so we can all make a NO PATTERN quilt also! I really look forward to watching your videos! 🙌🏼❤️🎉
So enjoyed your video and the quilt was just lovely. It was so nice to see something simple that looked like fun and that didn't take long time thank you so much for all your hard work😊
Love your concept and method if putting this together, basically using mostly leftover fabrics. Would make a beautiful fall/autumn quilt. Or a spring quilt. I don’t do Halloween and orange isn’t a favorite color (though I love it mixed with fall colors), but this came together beautifully!
I love this quilt. I'm obsessed with these fabric lines I recently finished a quilt with a few years worth of this fabric! I can't wait to get back to sewing I had my sewing machine needle get my thumb so it'll be a minute before I can sew again! I'll be getting a needle gaurd before I sew again😅 anyone reading take this as a warning to make sure you're fingers don't get close to your needle.
Where on earth did you get Sister Rooster? She/he is so werd, kind a conglomeration of a bird skeleton and additional bones. So many creative Halloween things out there.
Isn’t it the best? Did you see the video I had linked in the description? It’s for one made totally from spooky and sweeter two years ago.🧡🖤🌸🐥. Thank you for watching.
