So excited I found your channel ! I'm always on the hunt for real makeup artists on RU-vid. Whenever my makeup gets done on set I can't believe how nice and skinlike it looks and I don't know how they do it! Can you do a video how you got started?

I am so grateful for the knowledge and expertise that you share here! I'm an effects artist but I have zero experience with film work. Is this set bag all you bring on set or do you also bring your big makeup bag with everything as well and the set bag is just the stuff you typically teach for? I’m a bridal makeup artist trying to transition into movies and have my first gig! Do you bring your own chair?

Hey! Congrats on your first gig!! 😊 Typically this is all I bring to set, unless the actors have specific products that they need. However, with all of the Covid precautions my set/actor bags look a little different! My most recent video shows my new setup! As far as a chair goes, most of the time production has one for me to use but I usually keep mine in the car just in case 😊 Send a note to the producer to make sure they have a chair, table, mirror and lights for you. If you need to provide any of the above, that’s a great time to negotiate a higher kit fee 😉 Feel free to DM on Insta if you have any other specific questions, have a great shoot! 😊
