@@kd-37 I get like 11hrs of battery. It's good for me. It was 2017 macbook air and it had like 4hrs of battery. It's a good upgrade for me.

@@ritvikdalal156 No he means these tips aren't good on a laptop as having live wallpaper/elements will drain battery. It's more suited to a desktop that is permanently plugged in. He's not judging you for your laptop choices lol 🤦‍♂️

@@ritvikdalal156 don't worry about battery life, each of these applications have become very efficient with the issue of battery. And you can just make it stop whilst not on the background. ( Forgot what its called)

Same.. I always customize my desktop with rainmeter for so many hours but get bored within few days.. finally i removed everything from desktop just the wallpaper. Finally peace ☮️

I personally just delete everything from my desktop and disable the trash can because when im working i just temporarily store files on the desktop but then save them elsewhere later.

You can also lower the opacity of the shortcuts on your desktop in wallpaper engine settings to 10% so it still looks clean but you can still bearly make out were they are.

Live wallpapers take up Alot of ram. Rainmeter is great though. 10-15 mb ram depending on how many widgets you got running.

make the startup to full screen and set up your most favourite apps (aka app tiles).

Use the taskbar for your main apps and Start menu for the rest. It's a lot like macOS by default where programs don't take the liberty to autosave to your desktop, it generally remains clean if you let it, leaving the dock for main apps and the app library for the rest

i always run in to performance issues even if internet download manager is running on background. I don't think this comes in zero effect on my performance. i use intel g4560 8(4*2) gt 730 gdder5 2gb mp310 Nvme

Of course it will affect in performance with your setup. Performance in modern hardware is almost residual. In your case, I'll never do this.

I thought that this was going to be a video showing people how to liven up their desktops without using resource hungry, third party apps, but honestly, is this it? Change the wallpaper, add a clock and centre the taskbar? Its like having a box of crap...and just shuffling it around, doesn't make it look any nicer because, at the end of the day , its still just a box of crap, its just now there's more crap in it.
