The thing is here, The Original Windows 8.1 Taskbar, with bigger icon and everything is here, everything is possible on windows 11, without explorerpatcher, it can't be possible at all!I want to say sorry for it, but University's busy life made it worse, but here we go, we are here now! I found out myself the old 8.1 UX theme from the 10 to 8.1 version of this video still pretty much works. so that’s another way to make it look even more like 8.1.

I actually recommend StartIsBack over Open Shell because download ep and set start full screen the only change the button and taskbar to 7 and we are done

Fact: to have a windows 8 start screen. Change display mode on explorerpatcher to fullscreen start. Next can you do a windows 7 transformation pack for windows 11 ? Because I like windows 7 alot and I really want windows 7 look for my windows 11 PC.

I have an idea lets just give all of windows 11 updates and so on to Windows 8.1 and make it work forever as it wants to. I am typing on my Win 8.1 right now, Had it since 2013 and never had an issue. 10 Was a lame upgrade, But 11 took to many things away to make it really useable. I say we boycott Microsoft, Until they fix it.

You actually don't need openshell. You see, in explorer patcher, you can change the start menu style to full screen. It's the windows 10 style one, but still, it's more similar to windows 8.1.

The window title bar is the only thing i could find. If you look, Windows 8/8.1 has smaller icons for the minimise, maximise, and close buttons. Also, Windows 8/8.1 had a centered title bar name, but in Windows 11, it is to the left.

I think you can activate the full screen start menu in settings, but i don't know if it's an Windows 10 exclusive feature, because i only use Windows 10 with that option activated.

Most of the things should work correctly, heck, you can even activate the full screen Start Menu in settings without modifying the OS.

@@2013Windows81 And also very interesting technique on the file explorer on taskbar thing you did on the file explorer thing to make it look like the windows 8/7/vista one on the taskbar. I did the same one but with the windows 10 21h2 one because I prefer windows 10 than windows 8.1 but that's just my opinion. It's okay to have different opinions.
