Decorate your winter containers with free foraged greens. I decorated my window boxes with foraged greens, as well as some planters. These were almost completely free, unless you decided to add lights! Such a fun way to update your containers for the Holidays!

Thank you for sharing your creations using forged greens. After watching your last video of winter greens, I walked through my property and forged greens and pine cones. I was able to decorate two containers and chandelier in dining room. Happy Holidays!

Steph, your window boxes turned out lovely, and the pinecones that you and your son collected add a wonderful touch to the planters. I loved getting together with other gardeners and putting together our foraged greenery arrangements. Everyone brings whatever greenery they can take cuttings from in their yards (or forage finds), and we share with each other and have a wonderful afternoon. Unfortunately, covid brought that to a halt, but I hope we can bring that tradition back real soon. Have a wonderful week! ~Margie🤗⛄❄🎄

Beautiful! And sooo smart to put the battery packs in zip lock baggies. I strung battery operated mini lights on my outdoor Christmas decor and they have already stopped working. I was so disappointed but now thanks to your great tip, I can get more and weather-proof them. Thank you for the great tutorial.

Hi Amy, I have actually. What I found is that they took much too long to get going. They didn't bloom for me until August. Where if I had purchased a fresh start in the Spring, I could have had blooms starting in End of May/beginning of June. To me they weren't worth the effort. But if I lived in a warmer climate (zone 8+), it may be worth doing. Thanks for watching.

Hi Zenaida! I love using Mandavilla in my window boxes. They are tough plants, and can tolerate sun, and even go a day or 2 between watering in summer heat.
