Starting My Window Box Vegetable Garden | Small space gardening - I want to be able to help you be creative on all the possible ways to grow food. I love my window boxes and there is PLENTY of room to grow lots of greens. I also purchased a wagon planter at a local market and finally used it to plant more greens. 🌳 ABOUT ME: Hi, my name is Daisy. I live in South TX - in a town close to Houston, TX. We are in Zone 9a. I am married and have 3 beautiful daughters. 2019 was my first year gardening. We live in a suburban area with a small backyard. I have a backyard high-density orchard with over 30 fruit trees and 11 raised beds we built Feb 2020 for our Vegetable Garden. Love the cute little wooden planter in the plant bed Ryahlie! Smart to include veggies in more areas of your backyard garden. Practical and I'm sure you will make them pretty. Thanks for the tips on the lettuce! I love buttercrunch lettuce

This is awesome! I am very interested in knowing the varieties that you use that are bolt resistant, I eat tons of greens but usually in smoothies.Your space is gorgeous at night with those lights 😍

So nice of you Paige! I purchase mine locally but you can find online too from Botanical Gardens. Majority this year are from Baker Creek. Last year I purchased a lot from Johnny's Seeds.
