Can i make the sodium alginate in smaller portions so I don't use so much water?

does the spheres need to be this big? can i do it with a siringe? how does the time get afected by this?, Can i store a huge quantity in a jar with oil or syrup? Sorry if it's a lot of questions, if you got time to answer it would be wonderfull

If I use boiled (left to room temperature) water, will it still work?

For reverse spherification, you want to use liquids or foods with a high calcium content. Water is probably more suited for direct spherification. Boiled water at room temperature should work for that. If you want to use the water for reverse spherification, you have to make sure it contains enough calcium by adding a calcium salt like calcium lactate gluconate, as mentioned in the video.

Yes, you can absolutely eat the yogurt when it is in spheres! It's quite fun.
