This is one of my favorite worship patches for the Nord Piano 5. The patch is called "Grand and Pad" and is from my Worship Patches Collection vol. 1 for the Nord Piano 5. It's built with two worship pads "Sunday Pad" and "Shimmer Pad" from my custom-sampled pads library.

Bro I was using one today and I think I found their piano selection. They use royal 3D with either a bambino upright or black upright layered. It literally sounds like mav city piano.

It sounds like you using a "drone" in these pads. I thought the Nord Piano 5 didn't have the KB Hold feature that enables that type of thing on the Stage 3/4. Can you clarify for me how you do that?

You’re right. The Nord Piano 5 doesn’t have the KB Hold function like the Stage models, unfortunately. Because of that I’ve built the patch with a pad layered underneath the piano part to imitate a drone pad.

@@NoahWonder is the pad specific to a key or does it follow your playing. The sounds are great. I'm trying to figure out if the Piano 5 will be adequate or if I need to get the Stage.

Since that pad is layered with the piano it’s not in a specific key but follows what I’m playing.

Can I take the volume up or down on the simmer and piano and can I also add a 3rd like strings ?

Great questions. You can control the volume of each individual layer such as the piano and shimmer pad. You can't add a 3rd layer since the sample synth only has room for two synths.

Bonjour quelle différence majeure faites vous entre nord electrod 6 et nord piano 5. La différence de prix etant quand même présente mais je ne capte pas trop les avantages que possèdent réellement le nord piano 5 au nord electod 6. Merci ! Passez une belle suite au nom de Jésus christ amen amen !
