Thank you so much! You saved me a few hundred bucks! I was looking for a case for my daughter to easily transport from school and the wheeled cases are super expensive! But the golf case idea is amazing and I will be trying it out soon!

It looks awfully soft for this use. Also, do you know if SKB would honor the lifetime warranty for cases bought used off Ebay?
Yeah, it's relatively soft foam. From people I've talked to, you want the instrument to have a little bit of "give" inside the case, as that flexibility is able to absorb the shock of a physical hit (if the case is dropped by TSA, etc.). And this case has taken some tumbles, and my horn's been fine. I believe SKB has a lifetime warranty for their cases, so.... I think so?
