Thank you so much I’ve been struggling with Canva for weeks now and you just explained everything very clear and I’m done with logos and price list just like that✌🏽I followed your steps love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Great video. I made a couple great logos with Canva tonight for my company. Appreciate you looking out. Also, respectfully, you are a very beautiful woman. All the best.
No, you wouldn't be able to trademark your logo if you made it on Canva with Canva elements. I would recommend if you're looking to trademark, to commission someone on Fiverr to make it for you. :D
I appreciate the video - but being a copy editor, I can't unsee that you typed in your brand name as "Daniure" instead of "Danicure" when creating the logo (plus, that font is not easy on the eyes; it's difficult to make out all the letters). Just my .02, but again TY for the video!
Sorry to bother. I’m not lashing out or anything but I need to get this off my chest: Ok, so I have to agree that a logo is VERY important when it comes to a business. It is probably the first impression from the clients, and they will expect the logo design to reflect its quality. However, I have to disagree with “it shouldn’t be expensive”. First of all, if you are really taking your business seriously, you should really consider investing in something as important as the image of your business, because looking for something cheap is like wanting to have great skin but constantly washing your face with hand soap. Bad start. Also, a bad logo design will sink your business if the product or service can’t stand on its own. Second of all, the greatest disadvantage of using Canva is that millions of people around the world are using Canva as well. So don’t freak out if one day you find out that another company’s logo has the same colors, same layout, same design and same font as your own logo. You will never get something unique from there. All it has are preset designs for everyone to use. Third, a logo isn’t just a graphic that you can slap in a corner of your post pictures. A logo is given to a client in a certain format called “vector” that can be resized infinitely and it will never lose quality. Also, this format allows it to be used in different designs to send to imprints and maybe get a T-shirt, or a cap, or an apron with your logo! However, a picture will always lose quality when you resize it and the format used for pictures is not always the one that imprints need for those kind of jobs. Fourth, the reason why logos aren’t as cheap as you might think is because there are people out there actually making a living out of this that have spent years studying; They’re called Graphic Designers. Fiverr is an excellent platform that lets Designers select the price for their own work. You might find people overpricing their work, as well as underpricing it. If you know a Graphic Designer of your own, I’d also recommend you to go to him/her, at least for consultation. While I use Canva from time to time, I am against using it for logo design. I respect everybody that uses it, I just thought you guys should know some of those facts.
Yes, you definitely don't need to use a template! I never use a template--I just look at the templates for ideas and inspo! :D Good luck on your school project!
