its insane the quality of your videos just watched one from 2017 and then this one, and your skill has increased but the consistency with which you deliver content is still stellar. super inspired by you. thanks brother!
I'm So freakin beyond happy that youtube recommended you to me , you are unique at shirts designing your mind find itself in photoshop i luv your creativity in shirts i hope i didn't forget SMTH
To be fair you can get the globe by going into custom tools and shapes i think its under legacy. Its a bit different to find in CC. I personally like the good old cs6
Great tutorial. I'm curious, though, why did you desaturate and add the color back in with a gradient map? Why could you not just use an adjustment layer like Curves or Hue/Saturation to adjust the color? I'm just wondering if there's a procedural reason behind this, as in it makes the printing better or something. Or if it's just one of those situations so common in Photoshop where you have a hundred different ways to get to the same result. :D Thank you for the great tutorials!
This is so amaZing!!!! NOt onLy I learned a lot of new thiNgs, but throughly enjoyed watching this beautiful design emerge. Thank you so much Charley. Truly appreciate this.
I’m trying to get into the clothing design business and I was curious if you got those images from somewhere else, but changed the overall image can you still sell it as your own?
I have gone through a lot of your videos. Great work by the way. I can't seem to find how to do "cut outs". Example. Black circle in background. Black words on top that go past the circle like the rings of Saturn. White stroke on the words so you can see the letters on top of the circle. My problem is that print on demand stores say that if I turn in a file like I just described, they will actually print the white stoke on to light colored shirts. In my case for black shirts, I would make the circle white and the font white with a black stroke but I need cut out the black stroke so it will not get printed because it may not match the black tee color. If you actually have a video about this, which one is it exactly. Don't have one? Maybe you can think about doing a tutorial on what seems like a simple thing for you but I just can't figure out how to do it. My last resort was to take the illustrator file and send it over to Photoshop, use the wand tool and get rid of the stroke but I would love to keep and use the file in illustrator instead Unique print on demand problem yes.
The design is awesome mate, the only thing i can fault is that the rose at the bottom of the stem looks a little flat, doesnt it need so shadows underneath it? it looks like it just stops at the oval, would have looked better if it came down a little further
Nice, love the way you make it feel its easy and it can get done. Do you prefer the polygonal selection tool? I've gotten use to select subject and remove background options. The fringe around the leaf on the rose, what suggestions do you have to remove? Thanks for another great video.
I love the remove background option but it doesn’t always work. I find the lasso tools are better for fine tuning a selection although they do take longer. It comes down to how long you want to spend making a selection haha.
@@CharleyPangus Are the unsplash images free to use ? I keep going on there but all the photos have istock on the back an you have to pay was just curious man
Curious to know when designing a complex design as such in photoshop what print method would you go with ? I am currently screen printing but went to print designs I have created which are as complex as this and just wanted to know if something like this could be screen printed or which type of print ?
Thanks for all you do Charley. Quick question, are you always scared about people stealing your designs and what do you do as far as trademarking if done at all. How do you go about trademarking?
Personally, I have always preferred photoshop because I have the most experience in it. But I also use AI for simple vector designs, for example, line art or shape art. But for my field of work, I am 80% of photoshop for designs and 20% on illustrator, mostly because I keep confusing buttons and shortcuts in both softwares.
I love watching your videos your always helpful and for the most part very detailed. 💯💯💯💯 What printer do you use currently? I'm looking for one to print my artwork for stick for cups! I wanted a vibrant colored, multipurpose printer.. Any suggestions??
Since im here early and can comment, i was just saying that in Bangladesh you can make a top quality tshirt for $6 that sells in the western world for a $100
