MAKE YOUR OWN STAMPING POLISH!?!? 🙀I attempt to make stamping polish from regular polish 

Buy a cheap set of artist chalk pastels. They come in sticks. Scrape off a tiny amount of the desired colour and mix in with your polish, you will be amazed at the difference. It really thickens things up but it does need to be mixed well. (You can mix it on your silicone mat)

I have a lot of Kleancolor and LA colors polishes that work great for stamping. Seems like the creams/matte finishes are best, but some of the more opaque shimmers work as well. The ones I couldn't get to work were the more sheer colors and super glittery finishes.

Leaving the polishes open will make them thicker but it will not make them more opaque sadly. I have bought cheap sample bags of pigments from eBay to mix with my white and black and mixed small amounts into my dollar polishes until they reach the opacity necessary for stamping and it works fabulously and only costs pennies! I haven't bought the pigments in any colors yet to try making my colored polishes more opaque but I can imagine it works great as well. Also another tip I've found is decanting my very pigmented stamping polishes and u can use Polish thinner and actually thin them down suit a bit and still be very opaque and it stretches the bottle out so far. 1 15ml Mdu can almost be split into 2 bottles once thinned.

I seem to have the best luck with metallic or shimmer polishes as well. I have an old Revlon Chrome that works great for me but it's getting low so I will be trying the dollar store trick you gave me! Thanks as always!! 💜

Thin polish is nice for glitter application. It leaves just a sticky thin layer behind with no pigment. Immediately after stamping pour loose glitter right on it, let dry, then topcoat.

I did something like this with Sinful colors. I got their black and let it sit in an out of the way spot inside a cup without the lid on (wiped the brush down with acetone and set it aside) for about 4 days total and it's a really nice opaque stamping polish now

I am trying to do nail art from stamping very much but my stamp didn't pick design as I use regular nail polish what to do?

Hi, I’m new at this. I’m hoping you can help. I have the pueen clear stamper. It’s in a little round case, and comes with a scraper. I got it at Walmart. I got it because you can see where you’re design is going. But it won’t pick up anything!! I’ve tried several different kinds of polish (and I mean several!!) lol. Nothing transfers to the stamp. I saw in another video of yours I believe to use a magic eraser. I was so excited cos I had some!! It did nothing. 😞 Now what? I enjoy your videos and I hope you or someone can help. I use the L.A. colors right from the bottle and they worked just fine.

Hi, thanks for the video :) So crisp! Quick question, I was wondering if nail stamping plates get old, or rust away ? Just this question, nothing afterwards! Nobody seems to know or answer me and I’ve tried investigating but all I see is how to stamps, what to buy, but not the how it’s made? Will it rust? Can I buy “high quality” used nail stamping plates?

Where did you buy your stamper?

I kind of feel like we came in 1/2 way through an explanation. You didn't mention why you were leaving the polishes out, for what reason, to thicken? etc... New people wouldn't know what was going on.

I like the queen stamper. I can't find a clear stamper that is sticky like the queen. Any one know a brand?
