😱STAMPING WITHOUT STAMPING POLISH 😬 my tips on stamping regular polish

2022 and this popped up when I asked youtube for can I use regular polish for stamping. I tried a yellow LA Colors and it was horrible, I assume due to the polish being really runny and not thick. But I only have 1 stamper rubber thingy. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us!

I stamp with sinful colors a lot. Good stamper and a good coverage polish will almost always work. Reallllyyy sticky stamper is the key

Stamping gel polish with regular polish is okay correct? cure then stamp, let dry and then gel top coat?

My kleancolor polishes usually work well for stamping, it seems like the thicker/more opaque colors always work best.

Oddly enough, I've seen others use LA Colors whit polish for stamping or for using over Sharpies on stamping plates as well & I cannot for the life of me get the white to work lol. I've gotten some darker colors work before from the LA Colors brand, but they do seem to evaporate quickly from the stamper & plate if you don't move fast enough. Just bought the Sinful Colors white, which I've seen work great, so I'm hoping that can replace my white stamping polish that's almost gone. Awesome video! Glad I found this 'cause it definitely gives more insight to what polishes work good & which ones don't.

Thanks so much for your video, that was very informative! I have a suggestion for the polish that doesn't come off the plate. I had the same problem and I heard somewhere that adding another layer of fresh nail polish to a dry existing one helps in the removal, at least it does for nails. So I tried spreading a layer of colorless base coat on the plate and then cleaned it again, aaaaand everything came off! I hope this helped.

thank you for this video. I painted my nails red and stamped a design with white polish but when I applied it, the white doesn’t look too white. like faded or like the color is barely there as if I have to apply another coat. I can’t explain it well. I was thinking maybe I need to let the color dry out so it can thicken. what do you think? thank you!

I can stamp with any polish. I use dollar tree nail polish and it works every time. The trick is to not scrape so hard, and lightly roll your stamper over the image. I have the best luck with the pueen clear nail stamper, but most plates work perfect.

Great info. I am new to stamping and didn’t realize that I could try a different stamper and it might work. Also, how do you keep from wrecking your nails while cleaning your plates?

What am I doing wrong...? My stamp always smears not matter how long I let it dry? Is it my top coat? What do you use?

Sally Hanson works nice... Try that one. I found that it works I got some from the dollar store or dollar tree
