Since getting a 3D printer last week, I wanted to see if we could improve my Airbus TCA Throttles with Add-ons from Thrustmaster to make it even more of a perfect solution for flying both Airbus and Boeing planes. With a little help from my 3D printer and spad.next,

That throttle printed one is very cool, however i feel it would annoy me that it does not line up with the arrow where the original (old) detent was i may give it a go thanks for showing us very helpful.

There are new labels that you print, I just have y done that yet. I should have mentioned that

If you would get annoyed it would be for the totally wrong reason. The REAL A320 throttle detent is no-where near where Thrustmaster have put them. AirNOTT is spot on with this, and this I must have ! Well done

@@captpugwash3510 yeah i know there very far as i have been in the jump seat of many a320 and airbus aircraft during flight but it just did not line up but now there are the stickers that makes it a lot better

I'm told the climb detent in real life is equivalent in distance on the real throttle as the distance from idle to TOGA on the TCA. It is about 1/2 the size. I have been experiencing the same problem as well; had no clue thats what the little screws on the bottom were! Edit: 500th like

I'll try asap. Thank you. Also do you have an idea why my thust levers are giving different power like %4-5 when they're in same positions? They re equal at climb+flx.

I built ,y own throttle quadrant. Specifically the DIY737 from Carl and I do this but backward as I had to adjust my flaps lever for Airbus. Not for nothing but I would adjust the quality settings on your printer. My printer way smoother and cleaner than those.

Great stuff - On the first mod, the site shows designs with V1, V2 , V3 etc. What is the difference ?

Unsure, I printed v6 assuming latest = better but I’ll be printing the others in the coming days and testing. I’ll let you know what I find!

I would love to know more about the 3D printer, I am so tempted to buy one for exactly this kind of stuff but I know almost nothing about 3D printing.

You and me both! I’m very much starting out. Did a fair bit of reading and the Creality Ender seems to be the best bet at around £200ish before you move up to silly money. Thing is, there are many Enders in the line up, the v3 SE seems to be the most favoured right now
