Ryan let me give you one tip: Make playlists like Chest Arms Back etc. now that you dont have many videos because later you will want to but you will have just too many. Everytime you make a video just put it on the playlist
1. Drop sets + ascending sets 2. Slow negatives 3. Mechanicals (change the mecahincs of the exercise after failure) 4. Partials 5. Rack sets (have a little rest after each rep) 6. Slow negatives + long pause Thank you... my pleasure...
Ryan, your techniques have changed the way I train. I am nearly 60, trained on and off all my life. I am reasonably fit for an old guy, but your videos have changed my routines completely. Surprised at the precise targeting of the particular muscle(s) in the exercises. I haven't ached so much in years. It's brilliant. My sons are converts too. Keep up the good work and thankyou. This is a game changer 👍
This channel has grown so much over the last several weeks. I remember when there were around 20k subscribers. Now there's 70k + just shows how much quality Ryan is producing. Great work.
My favorite intensity techniques are definitely rest pause sets and 50% sets. It's a lot more productive and has definitely given myself and my clients better results quickly! Solid video as always man!
@@gitanodel69 you do one set, rest for 1 minute and try to do 50% of the reps in the second set. Say you do 200 for 12 on bench for your first set, then you rest 1 minute and try to get at least 6 reps. It allows you to push for PRs multiple in a training session.
I watched him yesterday, and today my muscles sore. One of the bests if not the best I 've ever listened to. Great style of teaching and demonstrations and editing.
One of the most underrated RU-vidrs out here just described but I’ve been watching you for a long time your Techniques on the next level and I could tell you know your stuff great words as always and for anybody that hasn’t watched him watch him subscribe this man knows his stuff got a new sub for life now
Hell yes - another short, clear, stupidly smart video. Thanks for not being like most of the other guys. I’ve got a fitness channel myself (more functional fitness and circus-based movement stuff) and now I finally have another channel I’m happy to recommend instantly to anyone who comes to me wanting more information about building mass. Just paused this video and tried each of these exercises before moving on - frankly you’re the only guy I’ve found online that inspires me to do that. Appreciate the honest, effective, no bullshit approach. All the best man
Ryan. You get to the point , I love how we don’t need to listen to some bullshit how good you are , we all know it . I’m 55 and time poor , so you show us how to get max results and max strength . It’s summer here in Sydney so it’s all about looking sexy and feeling amazing . Cheers bro for your help
Currently my favourite trainer on RU-vid. Simple solid advice, no BS. Finding every video helpful and production quality is on point. Amazing work. Thanks so much.
You have an innate ability to hone in on exacting form that either better isolates, taxes, or more thoroughly fatigues the muscle creating greater growth potential... awesome and as always thanks for the guidance and valuable knowledge!💪🏼💥😎
Only just discovered you a couple weeks ago. But already, I'm realizing that you're not only one of the best weightlifting channels, you're also one of the best vegan channels. Keep it up. I can't remember the last time I was this impressed with someone's RU-vid content.
Ill tell you that you are amazing in every comment of your videos, cuz YOU ARE AMAZING! Great job in this advices. Every video watched from you, new things learned.
I was 3-min in the video and SUBSCRIBED...I never do that! Looking forward to more! I'm 46 and (just in the last year) getting back in the iron game. Thanks for the info!
awesome video! I gotta agree 100% on doing negatives. I've been doing neg only chinups steadily for about 2 months now and have worked up to hanging 65lbs from my belt for 6 good 8-10 second reps. they are major butt kickers but they've made a noticeable difference in my back and biceps. Another technique i like to use is the rest/pause method i.e. after reaching failure, rack the weight, rest 10 seconds, unrack it and try for 1-2 more reps, sometimes repeat one more time for one more all out rep. They seem to help me get past sticking points when i just cant seem to get past a certain weight or number of reps. Another technique I use occasionally is pre-exhaust or even double pre-exhaust supersets. Very taxing stuff but very productive imo. thanks for all your great content!
when I first came across your channel you had 13k subscribers, now at 70k, just proves your info is quality dud,e keep it up. Keen to see some stuff on motivation or coming back from injury when you have a chance
Thanks for this video! I’ve already watched it twice, and will probably watch a few more times. There are some great tips I plan to add into my own routine.
Hey Ryan, can you display the name of the technique/exercise in letters when you name something. And can you add a recap with all techniques mentioned at the end, maybe number them? Would make it even easier.
Beer de Mus he didn’t cover a lot, so it’s kinda interesting you lose the material so fast. But I agree with the naming of the exercise during him doing it. Maybe that’s what would help you retain what he’s talking about easier
Just discovered you the other day and youtube is throwing your vids at me thick and fast and to be honest mate i think they are good simple and down to earth enjoy the sub dude
Could you make your demo of each exercise just a tad longer? I'm trying to implement them into my workout, but sometimes struggle to analyse your form in order to get the best muscle activation. Great job on the videos by the way. Easily my favourite workout RU-vidr at the moment. Keep up the good work!
Hey man great videos. Can you please do some videos on nutrition? I’ve been working out and trying to clean bulk for a couple years but I always love a video which can give me some ideas on the best meals/foods to eat.
Nice niche channel. I've been doing it this guy's way for years now. I never have perfect form and it didn't stop me from getting big. I cheat curl alot actually and it works great for me.
Make a video on Nutrition. What do you eat in a day to get shredded. We all now we can some how get away from training but Nutrition is the most difficult part
One more way is rest pauses. Combine it with drop sets. And then with drop sets one can also do slow negative drop to slow possitive and then drop to isoholds.
Crazy, I was planning on negative focused pull-ups tomorrow at the end of my workout. I haven't done any pull-ups for several years, and they seem like a good place to start without abandoning my current vertical pulls.
Hi Ryan, One kind suggestion. Please help to include English subtitles and be kind enough to speak little slowly so that we can understand in better way. Thanks for your wonderful classes this helps a lot.
loving your content man, just found you recently and watching your content has been great. a lot of different variations for exercises i never thought of and havent seen on youtube
At present, I'm enjoying either using resistance bands or light weight+high reps at the very end to really get a nice burn. And I never count reps unless I need to balance left/right.
