Best makers I’ve had. Blew cellar aged out of the water. Everyone I’ve had tried it is now racing around to find one or more. These are $69.99 at the gift shop

While the nose wasn't stellar, I thought the juice was good. It was $65, in line with the license plate bottles. I suggest you give it another shot.

Normally I’m aligned on most of the reviews here- but my palate was totally different on this bottle. Hope it’s not a laser code conspiracy! I felt this was very similar to Ben holladay soft red wheat rickhouse proof- but better! Agree to disagree on this one fellas! 😁

I thought they said they were done with the wood finishing series after the BEP. I'm not overly fond of them to begin with, so it's disappointing that they're essentially doing more of the same. It's also odd that one of the reasons MM wouldn't do a longer aged whiskey was their belief that there were too many tannins, but their wood finishing bourbons can be super tannic, and in a non-pleasing way. The reason cellar aged is even a thing is they essentially let it "age" in a cold environment so barrel tannins were reduced. This just makes no sense, to slow the aging on CA, but load tannins into younger whiskey.
