Getting older I reduced my makeup on vacation to 1 product of each category. Yes, it gives you the feeling that you look the same every day but there is nothing wrong about it when you have a nice, subtle, neutral makeup look that goes with everything ( and I am sure nobody sees a difference )!

I’m a MUA too and years ago I was always traveling with a lot of Make Up. But by getting older, I learnt to take only a really small kit but with a lot of options and multifunctional products and travel sizes with me. I even learnt, on holidays I need less than I think.

Although I haven't been on a holiday for three years, I can spend days, and days, and days deciding what make-up to take. One thing goes in then gets replaced by something else, and so on. Clothes however, meh, just gets put in my suitcase and I hope for the best 😁. Positano looks stunningly beautiful 😎. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Yes, I do the same. I clean my foundation, concealer, primer bottles (wipes), brushes (Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner) and wonder sponge when I'm done with my make-up everyday.

That is just a ton of makeup. I'd be in my bathroom for hours. Stupidly I have purchased so much. I don't have any highlighter, contour, illuminator b/c I'm still way too confused and I have like 4-5 concealers. NO more. Why can't there by a good product? My parents have literally spent a small fortune and now I'm sure I won't get my bathroom remodeled so I can sit and enjoy it. I just wanted to know about a bag and yet I wrote more - I think I'm going with Too Faced, and we'll see about their mascara since I'm super sensitive. I'm very fortunate and I spent hardly nothing on my skincare due to a doctor. If I went with any company - there would be another $400-600 easily and you wouldn't even know my skin. I use a dove bar, night and morning. It's the best thing you can use. Free of everything except to get everything you've put on, off, Then I use a sunscreen by EltaMD and this time I got the tinted which I haven't even used yet. Then at night - Dove, I have a prescription Retinoid and the great plan I'm on (I don't think unless it's a compound - they were debating at the pharmacy & I was sick) & I got a new moisturizer but now I don't think the Cara Ve is enough, I'm breaking out - they said it's a trial but I'm still only going on a light Top of the line company, which in total won't cost me $100.00 or just over and the prescription will last me months. Listen, Do you really need to sit for hours to look this pretty - they all do - it's their job, but it's not ours to go broke and sit and never finish b/c someone is yelling "let's go" every time. Now I have so many brushes you'll suggested - I need note cards. I'm in a class of what goes where but really some people have the same brush 5 times and then on and on? I'm already going crazy. Now I found Too Faced. I think I need to throw away this horrible Apple computer that was a lemon anyway brand new last year and replaced - so should this. Influencers sure do oversell, maybe that's my next job. I have sales in my blood and now I have so much stuff around my huge house that's overstuffed - already was, I need to get rid of so much before I can even start to remodel. Sorry for my rant but I wonder who else really feels this way and is too much of a coward like I have been to say a word. ?? I am sure I'll still watch until I can't anymore and I have been super sick with my brain tumor growing and growing until It won't take much more, and I'm scared to death & have to see the surgeon in a couple weeks - then I will maybe have a blow out sale on stuff I've never used. Anyway my thoughts. The other, I don't know - I guess I have been for too long and just put it out there. I'm sure nobody will feel sorry for me and that I've been in bed for 3 months unable to do much else. Because the world is compassionless. Try having friends who now won't even talk to you b/c you're sick. I won't go on - I'm sorry, rambling is a part of the condition so for those who are kind, and listened I thank you but you're probably 1 of a couple. Sad face. Nikki Krug

I don't wear make-up on holidays, so I might have a concealer and some coloured lip balms and that's pretty much it... But I compensate with a big bag full of skincare items 🤷‍♀️, so not really a light traveller (although I would like that).

U must be going for several weeks . If I have to make so many decisions on every product while getting ready.. I m sure I will need 4-5 hours😅. Travel kits should be simple n your go to products in general n a small extra pack for that nice dinner or photoshoot time. I was expecting really simplified kit n u made me dizzy with so many things. Don’t know how huge is your professional kit then . Anyway it’s your job n passion.. we can hardly work that way. Maybe tell us what u keep in your tiny clutch to touch up n we will be good with that alone 🥰

I don’t really travel much but what I imagine what could mostly be in the kit. I try to be minimal; Probably my mac eyeshadow quad with a shade for contouring, a daytime and nighttime look(I blend this with my fingers) A kohl pencil in brown. A tinted lip balm with a summery tiny tint of color (i like some more color but natural lip as a guy) Maybe my new physicians formula all star palette. My by terry hylaronic foundation Any concealer really hahaha. I find that concealers work well nowadays if you just set it with a tiny bit of powder. A beauty blender, blush brush, kabuki brush and a highlighter brush Maybe a soap to clean the brushes. That still sounds like a lot lol. What can I say, I like something of everything just in case haha.

I only take basics: eyeliners in 4 colors, liquid eyeliner in brown, brow flick and brow boy, a neutral eyeshadow and a colorful one, a lite foundation, a compact powder and about 5 lipsticks that double as blush sometimes and my physician bronzer, all in a smaller bag than yours although I keep telling myself to buy yours or the Allie Glines ones. No vacation for me this year, maybe next year. Have fun in Positano. It looks beautiful and fun!

I take all my makeup and brushes with me and end up using a lipliner, colored lip balm or gloss, mascara and single eye cream in sparkling nude color. I know this, but I still pack everything...you never know what you might need it for. LOL

I take one of everything but lipstick. Especially in the summer I love eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. Of course concealer and all the base. Love your bag and thanks. You should enjoy your vacation and not have to worry about videoing all the time. Enjoy Italy 🇮🇹

I have the larger version of your makeup bag i also bought on Amazon. I keep all my makeup in for everyday. Love it! I don’t keep my brushes in it though and always looking for the best organizer for makeup brushes.

I’m so jealous…………Italy!! We hope to go in 2022. I take lots of make -up, in fact I bought the same black case. I keep my brushes in a separate holder as well. Enjoy your trip!!
