Love your choices. Sigma has a variety of fibers they use and they all work but they dont all feel nice or work the best-test. Id reccomend to try their E33 Detail diffused crease though. Its great to define the socket softly and blend edges of things. Super soft, softer than say a Cozzette brush or a Real techniques brush. As soft as any premium synthetic fiber around really. Doesnt have a lot of drag either. One of my favs

One of my favorite eye brushes this year (I have small hooded eyes) is the Royal & Langnickel Omnia Professional BOM-416. I find brushes that can do a lot of things fun, and this one can do many. Its best at doing all the finishing touches on top of a basic contoured eye: shimmer, glitter, color & highlights. Also great for defining. Loved the Rephr 14 too for the crease, & the Sigma E27 because its PERFECT for packing a dark color on the outer 3rd of eye opaquely & quickly with zero patchiness and blending it out. My favorite face brush for creams & liquids this year was the Cozette S175 which is amazing for blending out concealer flawlessly and effortlessly. My favorite powder brush (for blusher) was the Japonesque Kumadori Contour & Highlighting Brush. So airy, flexible & soft and yet not floppy. Very little drag on the skin. Amazing. Honorable mention to the ELF Putty Blush brush because it makes it a BREEZE to blend cream blushes in 5 seconds flat.

@@KeepBeautyReal1 I think the Omnia416 is a fun little brush but the Sonia G Worker Pro is probably a better version of it that does more from looking at your picks. R&L has some great affordable brushes in their Omnia lines though (specially the Gold line [eye ones mostly great, face ones some are great some just ok], but also the Professional line [eye ones mostly great, face ones ok but most small to medium sz ones are quite dense), worth checking out, specially on a sale.

100% same about the 510. When you find a real replacement, I would love to know. I was hoping the KJH set was going to have it but alas. I like the Real Techniques setting brush too but again not quite a replacement.

I know this is an old video but it is SO helpful. I binge bought a lot of brushes (Morphe - no cone of shame needed, Sigma, BK, Rephrase, even ColourPop because I was already placing an order & a week ago set was on sale, probably some others) now I have a much better idea how to use them 😂. Thank you.

I always love hearing about brushes and especially learning how they can be used for different applications. I never thought makeup brushes could make a difference until I splurged (for me )on Sigma ones. It’s always interesting to me seeing how people use a said brush for different things besides it’s intended use. It always inspires me . Thank you!😘

Yes! Sigma was the first set for me to realize how much a brush can make a difference! I feel like it’s easier to make a mediochre shadow work with a good quality brush than the other way around 😉

taking notes! this is very useful esp for me whose just starting to get into makeup, I always appreciate reviews and comments like this. I used to be confused why theres so many brushes but it all makes a difference to me now.

I love the BK Beauty brushes I have. Theres something about the fiber she chose and the shapes and densities. My favorite part its not that they are soft, though they are, its just that they work so easily for their intended purposes. Im no expert and they just work for me. I wish I could compare the fibers to brushes from IT cosmetics and AOA studios. The price difference is large and yet all those bristles look the same. I just dont have those

The BK brushes really are well thought out! I don’t have any AOS, but I do have a few IT brushes but only face ones. Honestly I feel like I like BK more.

Hi Kelly, I think I bought the Rephr 04 because of you. I love them. I do love the Wayne 14. His brushes are expensive but they're so amazing..Have that Luxie, don't consider it to be tapered lol. Why are you ashamed of Morphe brushes ? bK and Spectrum are on my list. Really want to place an order now Thanks for posting this Kelly 👍🏻

Yes Wayne is certainly an investment but so nice! Morphe has just had a lot of business and social choices that I haven’t really agreed with-and in all honesty the product quality is very inconsistent. I just feel like there are several other brands in that price range that I’d rather support 😉

It looks like the KJH 08 is denser than the marble 08 even though they’re both from spectrum.

I saw #18 Wayne Goss brush on ebay the other day maybe if you're ever interested 🤔 in buying a backup backup brush. I'm interested in getting a good set or individual brushes on a broke grandmother 👵 budget tks for sharing ps i enjoy your video & great recommendations. Sending lots of love to everyone

Oh I will definitely have to check that out! I think Spectrum and Luxie both have great options(and both brands have crazy good sales from time to time, I got my white Spectrum set for 50-60% off).

If my budget was super tight and on short notice I could do my whole face with the Real techniques Multitask brush ($6-$10) & the Walgreens Beauty Dual Ended Shadow Brush ($4) for under $20 and everything would look really good. If you use liquid foundation you could simply get the RT sponge on top of that. Seriously. No one would be able to tell that you didn't use Sonia G or Wayne Goss brushes. Use light pressure with the multitask brush to get more precision when blending bronzer and applying highlight, tap on the cheeks for blusher, and pinch the brush with your fingers a little for precise contouring. The ELF Multi Use Brush looks like it could do the same thing as the RT MT but I havent tried it.

If I have rephr 14 already do I need Wayne goss 03? I’m trying to find a good transition brush something just a tiny bit bigger than rephr 14 preferably a Wayne goss or Sonia g.. I also like the smaller brushes

The Wayne Goss original 03 is quite a bit bigger than the rephr 14. It's more for a wash of color or almost like a final buff to smooth edges. If you wanted something a bit bigger and less dense than the 14 I think maybe the Sonia G Classic Crease would be a good choice. It's still smaller. A bump up from that would be her Detail Pro, but that would be closer to Wayne's 03. Hope that helps! (a great synthetic option BTW would be the BK Beauty 202)

do makeup brushes multiply in the dark ? somehow we tend to buy more than we need - but force yourself to use the other brushes, maybe they will become your favorites

I think they do! Actually I a trying to make a point to use my less-loved brushes, I need to decide what to keep and what To pass on! I do have some gems that have been getting overlooked. 💕
