I love how you like some of the palettes that had such bad reviews in beauty youtube community (like Lime Crime Venus or many of Melt palettes) and dislike some that were raved about (like the nude one by Glaminatrix or the christmas palettes by Odenseye). It puts things into perspective for me. Makeup is so subjective even when it comes to formulas.

Not only is it subjective, many people jump on the hype train for no reason and then never use a product again and it goes into a declutter straight away. Even if they gave something a glowing review. Some people are only here for the views.

I finally made the decision to declutter my Book of Magic palette because it was just getting old. Some of the mattes were beginning to feel very dusty and were just not as easy to work with as they used to and some of the shimmers were just beginning to dry up. Luckily I have some of their newer palettes that have similar enough shades, but I still consider the og Book of Magic one of the best palettes in terms of colour story that the brand has come out with.

I did the same with my Natasha Denona and Colourpop and rearranged them. The singles are a bit higher but not enough to make a difference when closing. LOL My in the Limelight I swapped 1 and it is Conjurred which is a deep green. I swapped all 5 cream to powder out of my ND Zendo and swapped with my Love palette. LOL

Hi Maaike I am surprised just how ruthless you were this time around with the palettes - all the UD gone etc. Overall this has been a bigger declutter this year than previous years. Hopefully you can see what you have much better and enjoy more favourites. Best wishes x

Not in British English pronunciation. You can pronounce it kah-kee or kae-kee. Both are used.

Seeing your collection I wonder if maybe you could do a more brand focused revisiting palettes series? Like a week of doing a different Huda 9 pan or a week of Melt, Zoeva etc. Or a week of comparing your different colourful palettes...you have quite a few bright and pastels

The Glamshop:Kokosanka reminds me of the Colourpop : That’s Taupe ! ( I ended up getting Kokosanka over That’s Taupe - mainly because of the shimmer shades ! 🙈☺️) Naked Honey & Naked Heat ( the only palettes that I ever purchased/ ones that called to me .. ) are my favorite!! 💛🧡❤️ Patrick Ta : Major Dimensions 2 ( I love this palette!) & I use in conjunction with the: Flower Beauty : Desert Dusk & Fenty Beauty Diamond Bombs ( how many carats?! & rose rave ) to give the Patrick Ta shimmers an extra pop ! ( I have chartreuse- yellow colored eyes and I feel like these type of colors makes my eye color stand out ! ) ☺️❤️

I have compared Kokosanka to That's Taupe in a video I posted in the fall time. Just search for palette dupes on the channel and you can find lots of comparisons!

Yes, the Sydney Grace palettes as well as the Ĺethal Joĺina are magnetic,so mix and match or put with your singles. And yes to rearranging your ABH( I'm not brave enough) You did very well Maaike, some surprises, some obvious declutters.

Also glad to hear the dry repressing was a succes. I actually prefer it over using alcohol. It takes a bit more of an effort, and when grinding up the shades enough, you can even salvage a messed up shade that you used too much alcohol on.

My fave mattes are by Viseart. Most buttery formula are Patrick Ta, Victoria Beckham and Vieve.

Hi , i feel very sad i am allergic to all Elf cosmetics all skin care and most eyeshadows so i just don’t risk it so i don’t buy any ! i recently bought all the new skin care and within hours i was sat in Accident and emergency and needed steroids and other treatments to reduce the effects of the allergy caused by the said products ! i needed to stay in hospital for 48 hours !

You have so much amazing staff, why do you waste your time and money to drugstore brands, like Essence, Catrice, H&M, etc.??!! ...and at the end, you declutter almost all of them...🙃

A.) Those brands continuously discontinue product which means I can't recommend it. B.) I love plenty of those products so it's not a waste of time.
