I would absolutely love if you did a roundup of your favorite brown mascaras! I feel like they're really coming back into style, but so many "brown" mascaras don't end up actually looking brown on the eyes!
For the exact sunscreen category you defined - covers both sun protection 50+ and moisture - I LOVE the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella!! Sinks right in, super cosmetically elegant, doesn’t feel or look greasy at all, layers beautifully under makeup, and it is cheap!
I'm coming back to beauty products after pretty much completely falling off for 3 years and how much drugstore prices have increased has been the biggest shock. Quality has also gone up too though.
I am with you on the Good Molecules brightening toner. I suppose it is because it doesn’t have a brightening effect on my skin. It hydrates just ‘fine’ for a toner, but not remarkably well.
great video kelly-I like seeing long videos! I have a random mini-review of the Garnier Micellar water *with aloe and hyaluronic acid* (the blue-green package): most products dry out my skin, even the CeraVe cleanser(!) but this one does not! Also highly recommend for folks with adhd/executive function issues I recommend micellar water overall for bt face washes/skin care routines bc you don't have to rinse it off so it's a nice quick thing when everything feels overwhelming!
Recently tried the lash and roll and it’s quickly become a fave - right up there with my I love extreme volume essence one. Love finding cheap mascaras!
I would love a video on moisturizers that also work as a primer. Or moisturizer like primers. I don't always have the best luck finding one's I love. Or even an Instagram reel.
Not Your Mother’s has a dupe of Olaplex #3. I bought it and I’m using it for the 5th time. It seems pretty identical to the Olaplex, which I used for over 4 years. I can’t tell any difference. The price is way better - 14.99 for 4.5 oz. I recommend!
Kelly I had incredibly results from the elf lash extender mascara on the FIRST application, I got the brown color and it pretty much translated chocolate brown but still pretty dark brown, I'm definitely still on the lookout for a lighter brown if you find anything, even a light brown so it'd translate like a medium brown.
Love dermatica, started with adapalene in 2019 and changed it in 2022 to tretinoin, niacinamide + azelaic acid. I love 7skin (or a minimised version of it even with my combination skin, especially the day after applying my tret). My absolute splurge item is a foreo ufo 2 mini and the masks (I use both sides of the mask pad on different days and then the serum since there is a lot in the package. Glow recipe is great, but I haven't tried that moisturiser ( I love the plum serum, so I don't know why). I may gift myself their new fruit babies set for Christmas.
I would love to see you review the cleanser from Prequel. I have heard good things about that cleanser but have not seen anyone actually review it like on RU-vid.
With my peace and lily dew essence, the lid will only break if you close it too tightly. I think they need to change the lid to make it more obvious that it’s closed all the way through though.
I actually love the GM toner. It was my first time using niacinamide and I noticed a big difference in my skin. Also, love the 7 layers method! My skin looks so good and hydrated, although I also do 2-3 layers. 7 is too much, lol.
I think the title should have been 'Products I've used up recently' cuz majority of the products mentioned here are focused on skin care and hair care products, only metioning five products in the makeup category, in my opinion.
I just made some “Kellly Gooch. Made me buy it” purchases over Black Friday-ulta had some great Peach and Lilly deals! I picked up two different cleansers and the matcha pudding moisturizer. I got a sampler set last summer and loved it, so I was so glad to get a good deal. I also got that putty shimmer that you’ve talked about, and the R. E. M. Fembot-they’re so pretty!
